Really helpful staff.. Ended up getting the most comfortable running shoes I've ever worn and they were happy to price match so a very reasonable price too! They will definitely have my custom in the future!

Made a visit to the Runners Need store in Exeter as I was in the market for a new pair of running shoes. I was helped by a very polite and knowledgeable sales person who with one look was able to tell the type of shoe I was after and selected a range of brands for me to try. I was able to try out on the treadmill the shoes and given helpful feedback on the video analysis. An excellent shopping experience, well worth the hour drive and will definitely go back again. If I could give more stars I would!

Runners Need advertises 20 pairs of road running shoes on their website for Exeter for £50 or less. I went there and there wasn’t any under £100. Extremely deceitful advertising. A wasted journey in the car to get there. I was told they might be able to order ones from around the country I could try, if I pay in advance. But I can do that myself?! Left shop really angry the site cannot be trusted. Actually didn't even want to give this shop 1 star but I couldn't post this without one.

Staff were attentive and knowledgeable. After a thorough review running shoes were suggested. Unfortunately as there was a sudden rush of people the chap serving didn't check that the shoes fitted correctly and I was given the wrong size. After a 5 km run I was in pain and had to return the shoes. Staff explained they were under no obligation to change the shoes, but did so and correctly checked shoes were correct. Could not fault the service but at peak times they were rushed and other staff in the store who did not appear to be busy could have helped the poor chap out.

Runner's Need is a small section of a bigger store (Snow and Rock), they seemed to have a fairly limited range which is all fairly expensive (although looks very nice!). Have been before for a gait analysis and found the member of staff helpful although on last visit I couldn't see many staff at all!
