Great place to take the children, especially on a wet cold Sunday. Lots to occupy them & burn off some of their energy. Nice cafe area, good selection of drinks, cakes, biscuits & savoury foods. Reasonably priced when compared with other experiences for children.
I love this play centre as much as my 9, 8 & 5 year old. It's so much more than your average place, definitely worth checking out. They serve good food which isn't over priced. They also have a really good coffee machine! Slight criticism but it is my only complaint, the coffee's are way to small :
Probably the best soft play outside Manchester. Safe, clean, great atmosphere. Comfy seating areas and a football area. There is also lots for the little ones to do as well. Oh and the coffee is fantastic
A really good family run play centre. Staff are really friendly. Place is cleaned regularly. Play frame is ok, not the biggest but the extras that come with the play pass; the bumper cars; swing chairs; bouncy castle and caterpillar ride make it really good value. Food and drink fair and very reasonably priced. No advance booking or slots so can get quite busy but well worth a visit.
While visiting family from overseas, Monkey Playland has been a lifesaver. We enjoyed our time here so much we ended up visiting 3 times. I have been very impressed with how hands on management is, and how well run and clean the facility is. It was wonderful to be able to relax on the sofa and let our 7yo go off and play on everything from the super fast slides, to the bouncy house to the climbing areas. Twice we paid the extra to use the bumper cars, swings and the ladybug ride and it was well worth the small additional fee. For the very reasonable price you pay, you will absolutely get your money's worth. We are already looking forward to returning here next time we 'cross the pond.'
As this review states, the experience here is great. Just got home from my daughters 8th birthday party at Monkey Playland and again had an amazing experience and a great time all round. Same package, same benefits, same great service. Thank you again to all the staff for an amazing party for my little girl. Paid for the all inclusive package for my daughters 7th birthday party for 12 children. Initially was a little annoyed at having to ask for the unlimited juice 3 times before it arrived. After that the service provided was nothing but class and what amazing value for money. The food provided was excellent and plentiful, the party bags and sweet cones where brill and a great addition to the package. Obviously being a play area that was always going to be good, but the party area for us was well decorated, spacious and private enough to feel special. I genuinely dont think we could have had a better party for the money we paid, so would highly recommend for birthday parties. Well done Monkey Playland for making my little girls day
We visit once a week and it’s always a good experience. Decided to book my lads 4th birthday party here. Very happy with everything, the party area was well presented. Food really good and plenty of space for adults etc. They had another party running at the same time but nothing felt rushed and everything went smooth. Good value for money as well. Can’t fault the place. Brilliant!
Website says clearly that no booking is required, just turn up. Drove 20 mins to be told they were taking bookings only because of a party. It's totally fine that there are periods when you can't just turn up, so put in some kind of booking system like everywhere else? Poor food hygiene rating too. A venue that has deeply declined.
Such a good play centre but you don't get enough time inside - especially if eating. I was disappointed that when we were leaving the girl behind the desk told us that we were 10 minutes late leaving and next time we need to leave on time. Parents will know that it's not always possible or easy to gather 2 children together, especially out of a play centre!! I could understand if I was over 30 minutes late leaving but 10 minutes??!
We've been to alot of soft play and this is definitely the best in the area, massive soft play frame, rides and great food. The staff are great too especially Jack. We'll be regulars now, the boys loved it.
