Great carvery and very friendly and accommodating staff. The only disappointment was the length of time queuing to enter the cafe and the wait to go to the carvery (at least 45 minutes). In fairness it was a busy day, so this may have been a one off. I'll revisit at some point and if a quicker experience is had it'll be a 5 star.

Went for a birthday breakfast treat at the end of February 2018. Nice eating area, but very basic. The service was ok. Ordered 1 large breakfast and 1 large poached eggs on toast with 1 pot of tea & 1 latte coffee. The drinks were OK, good quality tea bag, just ordinary coffee. The meals arrived super fast - couldn't possibly have been cooked fresh and to order in that time. I wouldn't say the large breakfast was particularly large; 1 mushroom, 1 fried egg, a tablespoon of baked beans, 1 thin piece of ordinary white, cold toast, 1 hash brown, 2 thin sausages & 2 rashers of bacon. The sausages were very "hammy" tasting with no seasoning - fine if that's how you like them, but not to my taste. The bacon was "anti-bacon" without any flavour. The large poached eggs consisted of two doorstep pieces of white farmhouse bread which was very good and 2 poached eggs, one too "snotty"/runny and both disappointingly tasteless. On the wall behind the payment counter is a large photograph of the owner's entire family laughing at the camera. One can't help but wonder if they are indeed laughing at us, the paying customers! The bill came to just over £17.00. We won't be coming back.

We went for Sunday carvery, the food was fantastic and I can't rate the staff highly enough, our waitress Patricia was amazing nothing was too much trouble she made our visit.

Staff always very friendly, availablity excellent, bit dearer than supermarkets but good value for what you get. Cafe has a good selection of food available to cover majority of peoples tastes.

Very nice brunch with my family for Mothers Day. Great food, great service, very reasonable prices. Will definitely being going back.
