Prompt and informative as usual. Down to earth customer service and prices. Scarborough parents could not manage without this shop! Well done Sue and Co. After 18 years of School uniform shopping I'll be sad not to be going to Rumours anymore after this year... But smallest child now in Yr11!
Ordered school uniform via Facebook messenger, given a ticket number and I collected it yesterday from the shop. Had to wait 10 minutes in a queue outside the shop due to covid, but once inside was quick. If you need to try anything on you have to book a time slot.
A well stocked shop with friendly staff. Prices are fair and the quality has always been good. I don't have a lot of choice as I think it is the only place that does uniforms for St Augustine's school, but because this shop is great I don't need any more options. I like how the shop is only a short walk from Scarborough's main shopping center, so I can easily pop in whilst shopping. Parking can be difficult, hence why I pop in whilst in the centre anyway.
This place has been here for years. I used to get my uniform from here in the 80's and I don't think it's changed at all. It does what it says on the tin. Sells all uniform for all Scarborough schools. With advise on school rules such as trousers not to be to tight etc.
Excellent service with a smile always ,back in summer to get it all again As a child got my uniform here and now my own kids .
The young man who served me today was rude and unhelpful. His customer service was dreadful. I definitely won't be back. How do these people have the monopoly in a town the size of Scarborough!!!!
Excellent service, always are, especially at this moment in time. Have shopped at rumours for a number of years now for all aspects of school uniform and ballet needs.
Excellent staff, very knowledgeable. Brilliant service. Clearly engage with customers and and to pass on knowledge of school trends.
A brilliant place for all your children's school and activity clothes and with great prices too.
