This council never picks up the phone, their website is rubbish as it hasn't got basic functionality, password expires and it is impossible to log in and it takes ages to unlock the account. You can't even set up a direct debit when you finally get to your account. We're living in 2024 you need to be sending paper slips or call a phone that never gets answered to set up direct debit.nnStudents in secondary school can come up with better website design and more user friendly functionality, yet we're paying 2k£ a year and basic things are not done properly.
I pay for green bin waste to be emptied, I'm a 75 yr old pensioner, and on their pull out bin service. It's a bit hit and miss if my bin gets emptied, been missed on at least 8 occasions the past year. I will not be paying the 45 charge this year, an increase of £5. The service is at best poor. Shocking service, never reply to email and phone contact non existent.
Sadly Rugby Council has become completely dis functional speeded along by an incompetent customer services- does not matter what you have concerns about it appears that those operating different aspects of the service - be it garbage collections to planning and the environment. - it is hard work just getting decisions - I am in my 84 year and I have asked for help with my bin as we are in a new area where they have a central point for collection I have asked for my bin to be taken from my house to the collection point some 50 or so metres away - although, the recycle people are good - 5 times my general waste has not been collected it is almost as if someone has decided that the service is not required - currently there is a new housing development on the Ashlawn Road Rugby where they are a number of old growth Oaks - simple question what provision has been made to protect these trees - in this country today we are losing our vegetation at an alarming rate although different authorities have planted thousand of trees; fail within the first year due to no plan to look after them, so we need every tree we still have - many developers are said to be working to the new rules of biodiversity- but I do see it - destruction is the name of their game.
Council asking for a missed council tax payment from 2021 in 2024. Try to speak to them, an hour on hold and then they hang up. If I can't contact them in the next 2 days I get punished!
Terrible is a understatement I think neglectful is more accurate I went in for being harassed and bullied by a lanlord to seek homeless advice due to unsafe conditions and provided evidence the council refused to help and closed my case before it began forcing my to become fully homeless and ignore all emails and corisposondents and therefore Neely there duties …. The local MP has been informed of there negligence and the matter will not be ignored and escalted they have a duty of care and on this occasion they have failed and still failing to do there duty
