A great takeaway with good, tasty food. I've used them for years. They accommodated the special diets of my partner & I without any fuss. Vegetarian options: My partner is vegan and apparently the tofu in black bean sauce she had was excellent a little on the hot side for her though, but still very enjoyable.
I ordered for delivery the lady was friendly but I repeatedly asked for my chow main to be plain but asked for no bean sprouts also, when the food came there was onions in my chow main when I specifically asked for it to be plain. I wasn’t happy about it and ended the phone of the lady as I’m ill and triple checked everything was plain, the lady then proceeded to call me back and had the audacity to turn round to me and tell me that I siad a bad word to her and I couldn’t speak to her like that. I NEVER once said anything bad to her I work as a manager in a good restaurants myself so wouldn’t dream of swearing at someone but the audacity to accuse me of something I didn’t do I’m fumming. I told them I never said anything bad that I jsut ended the phone and the lady was like oh I thought you said something. I told them I was going to give them a bad review they did offer for me to have the noodle re delivered but the rest of my food will be cold and after the accusation they made against me I WILL NOT order or recommend this place to anyone for their customer service. They were wrong and didn’t like it and tried to accuse me of something absolutely not ok you’ve lost a loyal customer and a few other customer as u recommenced you to a few of my friends they will no longer be eating here
my local hero chinese. ruby house has delivered for me time and time again. the staple dishes are all there, but it's the meat-free specials that make ruby house so special! under most of their dishes you have the option for: chicken, prawn, veg - but then also mock duck and mock chicken! i love the mock duck - which i get salt and chilli style. the order pictured is: chilli salt mock duck chilli salt chips plain chow mein barbecue sauce super friendly staff & cash only if you're paying at the store!
Hands down I'm from South so its not easy finding a lovely tasting food like this the lady at the front shes an angel she's soo sweet il definitely be back more than oncedo visit u won't regret it Kid-friendliness: Lovely customer service Wheelchair accessibility: Not sure

Disgusting. They don't have a clue about cooking. Tempura prawns were coated in some kind of stuffing - like batter.. Found a piece of foil in my noodles. Only rethinking about my meal makes me want to throw up
Very Mediocre food. Ordered two duck chow men They arrived home completely dry, a few bits of duck fat inside and no other ingredients! That was it! Two very sad dishes which I paid nearly £17 for it. I’d rather go somewhere else to be honest as this is a huge disappointment and reminded me in first place why I had stopped buying from them a few years ago. Never again!
The worst Chinese I have ever eaten. I’ve never left a review for a restaurant before but was compelled to make sure no one has to waste their money on this disgusting food. All the food tasted old and was extremely slimey, I decided not to eat more than a couple of mouthfuls as I thought I might be ill. You know the food is bad when the best part of the meal was the prawn crackers. I’ve honestly felt like I’ve been robbed.
Have ordered from Ruby house for many years now, our favourite Chinese takeaway by a long shot. Restaurant quality takeaway food, consistent, good value. Highly recommend
This is my favourite & regular Chinese take away restaurant. It's not the same if it's not from there for me. At least locallyFood: 4/5
