Very kind and caring. Suspicious of people who want to adopt animals wich is the correct attitude to have. We want to ado bt a dog suitable for our Autistic Son Patrick-Lee and well be visiting again soon. Respect a pet for life not suitable for a gift. Thanks Lee
Disgusting behaviour to my daughter , who had her cat taken off her by them. Rude and no wish to get the facts . Accused her of "clearly not able to pay for vets bills " , my daughter works for the family firm and CLEARLY can. Said Elsie looked pregnant - she is spade and had a clean bill of health from vets . Cat in question is Elsie , now apparently rehomed . The girls broke down in tears when they saw her on the re hone page . Didn't even get her details right, said she was two when she is eight . If they had any shred of decency they would of returned her to my daughter - her rightful owner. Appalling actions . Hope the new owners feel reasonably guilty if they read this. Will never support RSPCA again.
Staff very helpful, I found a lovely furry friend cat there. After going through the neçcesary but essential paperwork and home visit the day came to bring her home! Rosie was not too keen on getting in the carrier, after all she was quite happy being fussed and fed by the staff at Brent Knoll and her accommodation was 5 star! Now she has arrived at her new home and was seemingly excited to explore the room she would be restricted to for a little while. Rosie has now settled in and has the run of home and garden, she is a dear companion who loves to sit on the window sill or by my side either indoors or in the garden. So thank you RSPCA for your help you are to be recommended for all you do...Well Done xx
Got this beautiful boy 5 years ago. Friendly staff, easy process and a very worthwhile charity to support.
I would recommend the Brent Knoll branch of the RSPCA if you're looking for a cat to adopt. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. All the cats are incredibly well looked after and have good background info which makes it easier to find an animal that suits your home. I saw a Oscar on the website, visited several times which allowed me to drop off a bed to help Oscar adjust and swap blankets to help our existing cat acclimatise to the new arival, and had Oscar home within 10 days following a home visit. I will definitely come back to Brent Knoll when we are looking for cats again.
Family friends encountered a cat, they believed to be a stray, took here and they found the owner for us no questions asked. Brilliant.
The only thing about them is they take a long time to get back to you other than that they are a great help.
Struggled on the website wanted to do volunteering work could not find how to do this.also was looking to adopt another dog .but struggled with looking for a pet.
It's unfortunate that place's like this need to exist but the staff and premises at the RSPCA-NORTH Sumerset are great. If your looking to adopt a new pet you will find it hard to beat.
We donated a huge number of towels to Brent knoll today but there was a lady working who was not at all helpful or friendly..don't think will bother returning with further items considering her attitude
