Wonderful people. After trying to re-home from one of the many privately run organisations and getting nowhere I was delighted when they got back in touch after I submitted an application. The application form was completed on Saturday; the telephone conversation took place on the Sunday; I met the pup on the Monday and collected her in the Wednesday. She is the most fantastic dog who achieved 'worthy successor' status before she was three months old. Brilliant experience all round.
Turned up outside your gates with an abandoned puppy. There for 20 mins and no reply. We tried the buzzers and no one answered. Shocking. You say you care about animal welfare. No one helped us with a puppy we found. Dog wardens only work office hours. Heaven forbid a dog ends up in trouble during "unsociable hours". I'm disgusted in the service provided.
Awful rescue! Put perfectly healthy animals down because they test positive for FIV... A cat can live a perfectly normal life in the right environment if given the opportunity which these don't allow! They just snatch the life away! Even when other rescues reach out and offer a place for the FIV positive cat who are highly qualified in ensuring they go to the right homes and get all the best care, RSPCA Birmingham still choose death! Absolutely makes me sick to my stomach! Don't give your charity to these murdering theives! Your money is far better off in the pocket of non profit, volunteer run and no kill policy charities who actually care about the animals and not how much money they have in the bank!
trying to adopt but they don't answer the phone, I've submitted two forms days ago and neither have been answered, awful service!
Love dogs. Love this place. Went to the Fete today. Lots of brilliant people braving the weather supporting the worthy charity. Keep up the great work.
Me and the wife recently adopted a beautiful dog here recently. The staff were amazing offerd endless help and support even now weeks after the adoption. We were always greeted with a smile and welcoming arms.. really can't praise this place any more there doing great things for animals in need
Money making organisations, not helping injured animals, asking donations everywhere, whenever call them giving new to new number to call, call there call there, no any help, formality for help, unknown bird injured at my garden dying for last 3 days, called this organisation hundred times, after call only sending there website links, when go there on website, there saying call us, when call them again sending website links, and on website highlighting DONATION us, yes we should give them donation because they doing good formality as they helping birds.
The centre was fantastic in the adoption of our cat Skippy. They made everything easy and simple and all the literature they gave us was informative and helpful. Skippy is now enjoying having a big house to run around, though I think she is looking forward to going outside to chase the birds!
All the staff dealing with "Spotty" now Poppy were very caring as she was a nervous and frightened Border Collie. It is close coming up to two years now, with a few months dog training after I got her she became a different dog. She is fascinated with all types of animals on tv or in close proximity. She has her own quirks and is comical on occasions. Thank you for letting me adopt her and give her a new life my forever dog.
Set in lovely peaceful countryside. All staff we encountered were friendly. The whole place is immaculately CLEAN. The pens had inside and outside quarters. The cats had plenty toys and scratch posts to keep them occupied. All animals had beds inside and outside beds. At reception there is a small shop SELLING gongs, pet toys, treats, RSPCA Diaries £3.99 or £1.50 each. The lady on reception was very attentive despite being busy answering the phone. I would have loved to have rehomed all the animals there. They are doing a fantastic job here make a donation to support this vital work.
