Easy parking, staff friendly and helpful. Hot drinks. Lots of hides with good views over different bits of water and a mixture of paths, some a more quiet than others. Some of the highlights were Great White Egret, Marsh Harrier and heard a Bitten.

This is a lovely place to spend a few hours. We took our 8 year old and she loved it. She hadn’t got a coat and the staff were even kind enough to provide her with one. The parking is easy, good facilities, and easy to get to. Well worth going for starling spotting and more.

Very beautiful place to visit with loads of birds. Big parking place. Great for walks as well.

A fantastic place to bird watch. Restrictions on dog walking - but still plenty of space. Large car park and toilets. Can get very cold in winter so wrap up well.

There's a fair amount of parking, but if you're coming to see the starling murmurations in the evening then it fills right up. £1.50 for up to 2 hours, £3 for all day. There are staff and a few signs to help direct you to the starling viewing points, but when we visited the signs seemed to peter out not that far from the car park. Starlings were a long way away and very low to the ground, the BBC wildlife unit will not be interested in any of the photos I took! This was on a Sunday night towards the end of January. Good site for birds generally though, good paths and some hides.
