I always attended this salon because although pricey you did get quality care. However I was disgusted with my last visit, hence the one star!  My first visit although 2 years ago I had a full balyage which including full over colour, bleaching, toner and gloss £150 plus hair cut! Several hair colourings later costing around same price or less.  I went a few months back, I needed a root touch up, had about 7 foils of bleach and a toner, plus trim £230 !  I was so shocked I was charged for balyage, foils, root touch up, full head hair dye plus toner and cut style. But balyage in every salon is more money as it includes an all over colour, its inclusive which it always has been! I get the foils and gloss as additional costs but I think it's disgusting and when I challenged them I was given £30 refund only!  I feel its a shame as they put me off returning as a customer so ask for a price before and get it in writing!Services:&nbsp;Hairstyling

I have frequented Royston Blythe for years. Initially at the Wolverhampton salon and then at the Shrewsbury branch.  While their prices are higher than most hairdressers you are certainly afforded the attention and service while you are there.  I can honestly say i have never come away disappointed. The staff are friendly and certainly well trained in customer service.  Only one negative is the price of the products on sale.  Make sure you ask the price before purchasing.

Fabulous salon. First time I've been and will definitely be visiting again.  Cerys is an apprentice and she did a brilliant job of my hair. Such a lovely girl, re-booked her again I was so pleased. Keep up the good work Cerys.

Bad points - messed up my original appt which was cheaper but not told or asked what grade hairdresser I would like just given that grade hairdresser?? Then appt rebooked a week later not told price or told who with and not asked who I wanted or what I could afford. On day of appt chair sat to wait on covered in broken off blonde hair from being cut, on a velvet seat so sat on side with x on it, hair dresser seemed to listen and communicate what I wanted but cut not what we agreed and even dried it in a style we did not agree so embarrassed wore my hood when left very gutted upset and too unhappy to complain as too many people around and didn't wish to look rude to so called senior stylist, worst part I was told one price from on original booking to not be told this price would differ alot more and it was a senior stylist I never requested or asked if could afford, never been so angry inside, bad hair and would not have paid more than £15 and only for the experience and hair wash, bad listeners and communicators due to cost shock and end hair doo and appt mix up, I left feeling and looking like a dogs dinner in my eyes even husband said I looked better before I went, who wants to hide when they walk out of a salon for over £50 and put hood up, you should feel and look glamorous for this price.  Good parts - very welcoming smiling faces attentive, lady that shampoo,d hair fantastic relaxed experience so gentle, great looking salon too, such a shame will never return, I'd rather pay alot less go to smaller less know salon not worth money as even few days on cut so awful cannot style hair in anyway that looks nice, lesson learnt paying more does not mean better at all.
