We've always enjoyed our visits as it's not a huge place so feels like an intimate show.nThe staff are always friendly and helpful so I would recommend giving it a go .nThere's lots of parking in the area although I would get there early if you want to avoid a bit of a walk to the venue.
The act was hilarious Jimeoin but the place needs an upgrade. Not much legroom on tight seats, far too hot in the theatre and old toilets. Needs to be a larger exit for people coming out at the end of the night, too much of a bottleneck.
We watched Steeleye Span here & were impressed with in no particular order the plentiful street parking , helpful staff , very good views & sound in the Auditorium & General cleanliness/tidiness of the venue.nThe show lighting was okay.nBut as per usual with theatres/music venues the drinks were slightly pricey & one Ale wasn't on that I wanted .nOverall a good venue & a brilliant gig ! , would go again.
Came tonight to see Jimeon, enjoyed the show. It's a nice intimate venue. Definitely come here again for other events.
Have been to the Spa Centre twice. Once to see Joe Lycett back in 2019 and the second to see the Aladdin Christmas Pantomime 2021. Both times I was impressed. Ample seating in the bar areas across multiple floors to sit and relax before your show. Plenty of toilets dotted throughout the facility and more than plenty disabled parking spaces literally right outside the entrance. In both occasions Staff were helpful and courteous and wouldn’t hesitate to return when another show takes our fancy.
