Booked 3 rooms but didn't stay as most of the mattresses where stained with urine. Disgusting. We got a full refund as we had paid in advance.
This has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in!! Arrived to a sign on the door saying call a number to be seen. So you call the mobile number and no one’s bothered to answer.nnThen after 15 mins some said going to the pub to book in. The pub was busy with loads of loud people and music. Was given a key by a girl and not even told where the room was or what time breakfast was served from or till.nnThe room had a very small bed, there was blood on the wall and stained everywhere. The pillows ease flatter that’s pancake and totally stunk.nnThe bath/shower had mould and limescale everywhere, the pain is coming of the walls the place should not even be a hostel in my view. We left and will definitely not ever return. Don’t waist your money,
Planned to stay here for a few night, first of all the rooms were smelly, and overall not very nice.nFirst night my partner and I heard a squeak but didn’t think very much of it, the second night we heard the same squeak and movement of a rodent behind the bed and in the skirting boards, the hallways smelt unpleasant of a musky smell.nThere were rodent traps in the bathroom behind the door, so the owners knew of the infestation but still allowed customers to stay in the rooms with rodent crawling about a few feet below our heads.
Went to the restaurant at the back of the pub to try out, the food was great, a bit different from your normal, but it is a fusion of foods, reasonably priced and the service was great.nThey are opening the entrance at the back which will be better, because you then don’t have to walk through the pub.nThe service was great making sure you were happy but not too attentive and they have decorated the restaurant and it looks great.nI enjoyed my meal so much I returned for a second time.
Room was Clean and Well stocked with tea and Coffee...nGreat Deep bath with loads of hot water..nOnly downside was Very noisey bar and Kids being allowed to run wild !! and I was staying on the top floor...
