Do not park here ! Dreadful experience as tourists last Sunday Unclear signage ranting about towing car away if parked after 7 We drove back to Minster in the end and ate there
Absolutely disgusting. No lifts, stairs filthy with litter. Stair wells stank of urine. Not a pleasant experience which reflects badly on the town.
Lovely harbour. View was spoiled by so very many cars, vans and lorries, bit much for 8.30 a.m.on a Sunday. There weren't any disabled parking spots available and it was difficult in a small space to turn the car in a circle, especially if you have limited mobility.
Lovely place trip the day... But car park is ok fit enough. Unfortunately, the elevator is out of action! Wasn't these elevator upgraded tranform new ones better updated. I remember that Bennie Elevator service, probably is poor condition could be repairs dozen of time the way so expensive fix-it these elevators. Hopefully get it upgraded elevators and new high security CCTV in the car park for owing due safety. Well, I was enjoy place of seaview and sit down, have a cup of tea and relax... Enjoy! I hope will do return again, get a improvement well!
Free on Saturdays, but definitely needs to taken better care of; grim, dirty and used as an open toilet. Could and should be a great resource, since it is good for shops, marina and beach, but is in a shocking state of neglect.
It is a good size car park and enough space to drive around was driving Ford edge which was big and was originally worried about manouver around but it was actually okay. But ground floor parking space can be little tight for SUV's though. And on the left side wing you have dead ends which are hard to use the last bays were badly designed and not for SUV's. Btw it was closed at 11pm and not at 7pm as advised on the website.
Didnt stop. £6. You are having a laugh
thanet council must be the dumbest in the uk, this park closes all the top floors in the evenings, apparently because of its inability to police it , thus giving into yob culture. Numerous reports of trapped motorists who have not been aware of the closure. On busy days when there are festivals or fairs the local economy suffers as motorists go home early due to the parking restrictions rather than stay for food locally. Not even used by the hotel travelodge opposite who tell motorists to park in nearby streets to the chargrin of the locals . but hay if you may have your car looked in and ticketed for overstay then its best avoided! dont go there in fact give ramsgate a miss if the council clearly dont want you there!
Prices could be better, but I come here to sit for 5 mins and look out at the boats. Also at Christmas the boats have loads of pretty lights on so I bring my kids and park up to have a look at night time
Only gripe was expensive on road parking £2.30 per hour as ramsgate was a friendly welcoming place I would have liked to explore more.
