Great park, constantly changing for the better despite a few set backs. Now has a nature reserve up the Grange road end, here there are bug boxes amongst other things to attract the wildlife. Towards park road end there is an enclosed play area for youngsters and separately enclosed assault course for older kids. Towards the Ellington road entrance there is a miniature train track that is still used. There are quite often events going on year round.

Large beutifull park with a lot of fun especshaly if you have a dog that debs and me have also great for the kids with a play park and carved statues out of there some of the large trees just enjoy

Lots of dog mess and open onto main road in some areas. Having said that, very pretty in the sunshine and lots of birds and squirrels, plus plenty of space to play. Also pathways all round to avoid muddy feet.

Annually host location to Battles For Victory Show. Family orientated historical entertainments and refreshments.
