Brilliant place to go for walks in all directions with different levels of ability. Large amounts of parking. Make sure you are aware of the current situations and weather predictions. The weather can change 4 seasons in a day. Always tell someone where you are going and when you plan to be back if you are going out on your own and i advise you take a map and compass even if you think you won't use it it could come un handy. ‍‍
Spacious, nice car park where its never busy. 100% Recommend parking here if you are looking for a place to park in Dartmoor. While you are at it, visit the Rowtor aswell.
A great spot to view Dartmoor from 1500ft + if your energy levels are low. Tarmac road access where a wheelchair user can experience the beauty of Dartmoor.
As parking goes this fits the bill, enough room and easy access. No charges or wardens to worry about, just the weather can be a bit on the blustery and wet side. We visited whilst storm Francis was happening, made for a short walk indeed.
Ample carpark with lots of walking routes leading off of it.
A nice stretch of moorland, if you wanted to you may walk anywhere on Dartmoor!

North Dartmoor is always beautiful whatever the weather. Go prepared for the weather to change suddenly. The car park is able to take lots of vehicles. Lots of good views and if you get out and walk it is magical
A lovely part of the Moor, easily accessible with lots of walks and a well paved road to the carpark. Watch the weather though as it changes quickly.
Ideal space to park for a walk on the Moors.
