If you want a proper boozer with no intrusive music or tv then this is the place to go. Friendly staff and customers and a nice warm open fire.
Great staff and a decent selection of ale. Can be noisy but there are a few side rooms if you want quiet. You could still relax and enjoy a decent pint. No food other than crisps nuts etc. It was my favourite pub in Douglas and I had had tried a few!!
Great pub, which I had not revisited for many years. Great range of local, handpulled ales available plus a good selection of Baked potato or Burger meals for lunch.
An outstanding establishment with a gloriously eclectic range of ales! The atmosphere is always welcoming and the staff and clientele friendly and lively!
A great pub, full of character and quaintness. The beers are all Busheys brewed and are excellent and the food is brilliant with huge portions at brilliant prices. The pub caters for all ages from the lunchtime office workers to a room full of friendly Metal/Punk fans in the music room with live bands
Great pub, our favourite in Douglas. Good choice of ales and lagers. Best prices!!! Always busy but the staff are amazing and you won't be waiting long. Plenty of seating inside or stand on the street.
I love this pub & make sure I go there every time I'm on the island. Good selection of beer, friendly staff & customers. They've tidied the pub up a bit & put a few more tellies up but could still do with sorting out the bogs. Thanks for giving us a good time every time we go.

This is a great pub for decent priced drinks and a friendly welcome. It's not fancy, amd attracts a more "alternative" crowd. The staff are great, the atmosphere is good and the prices are amazing!
