Information on forthcoming events, displays and exhibitions.
Rothwell Heritage Centre serves as a point of reference for local history information, with regular displays and exhibitions of local interest.
Staffed by volunteers the centre is open Monday to Saturday from 10:00am until 12:30pm.
Our newsletter 'Rowell Heritage' is published bi-monthly beginning in June 2014.
We hold a popular Coffee Morning on the first Saturday of the month in our vintage tearoom.
The first floor houses the 'Galleries' showcasing the work of local artists and crafters. The displays in both the museum and galleries are changed regularly.
Small group art classes, table-top sales and craft fairs are also held in the galleries.
There are two permanent exhibitions, one dedicated to the Rothwell boot & shoe industry and the other to the Rothwell born Broadway entertainer, Jim Dale.
