I've been going here for 10 years and more, andall the staff are knowledgeable, helpful (and in my case, very patient as I am not the world's greatest handyman!). They stock everything, or can order it in. Shops like Roses are why it's worth supporting local businesses.

This place has everything. From hardware to bikes! Ultra polite staff that are very helpful. Enough parking out the back.

Just wanted to comment on the excellent service I received, the sales assistant 'Peter' was incredibly helpful and really got me out of a fix. He was attentive conscientious and clearly enjoyed his work and went out of his way to help. The key cutting service was second to none, a big thank you from me.

good range of hardware, fairly priced. very friendly staff. love the lawn mower department too.

Very good hardware shop - like in the good old days. A bit pricey compared to some other places but still would recommend.
