We showed up without a reservation and they were full at the time but they asked if we could make a later time, which I really appreciated, very friendly staff our waiter was a delight, the starters were amazing and the main sealed the deal. We will deffo be coming back if not for the cute interior for the fantastic food and service.

Lovely people, delicious food, quirky design. Loved the menus! We had a starter to share cured trout and garlic bread, both of which were really delicious.

Quirky pub with nice atmosphere and great food. Went for brunch and had an enjoyable time. Good selection of food with both vegan and gf options.

Every little thing about this place. The decor, atmosphere, the smell, the staff, the menus with the magazines, the food. Just perfect. I think about it every day, it felt like home! Had a chat with the manager afterwards for about 10 minutes and was such a lovely guy. Cant wait to come back.

Google reviews are fabulous when finding great restaurants like Roseleaf Bar Cafe. Arriving late in Edinburgh, we thought we’d missed “lunch hour” & then we were delayed with checking in to our accommodation. A quick phone call, through the info on this app, ensured lunch was still available so we drove to the location & warmly greeted. The meal & drink choices hit the spot with a mental note to return later another day for dinner & a cocktail, or two. Our meals were  fresh, flavoursome & “homemade”. We ate smashed avocado, tomato with poached eggs & eggs Benedict with smoked trout & spinach, washed down with a pot of detox tea. We look forward to returning & highly recommend.
