Pay at machine Car park for the visitors to Rosberry Topping. Sadly the toilets where closed which is not ideal after a long journey. Beautiful walk to Roseberry Topping. My son loved it too.
We parked here to walk up Roseberry Topping. It's not a massive carpark, but we didn't have a problem finding a parking space on a Sunday morning. It's a few quid to park here for two hours, with options for longer parking. You can pay at the machine via card or with the paybyphone app. There is a toilet block, however it was closed when we were there. Roseberry Topping itself is a lovely walk, plenty of people walking up it and quite muddy and slippy on the way back down. Two hours was plenty of time for us to get up and down, though if you have young kids/ are a slow walker you may want to consider paying for more hours parking. Will definitely be returning to do a longer walk linking Roseberry Topping with the Captain Cook Monument.
Beautiful place the walk to the top is very accessible for even low level of fitness it is quite steep and fairly easy for passing others
Quite a strenuous climb but worth the effort. On a clear day you can see for miles. There is a car park at the base which costs a maximum of £4.80. The ticket machine has a contactless function, as well as paying cash. There are toilets in the car park which is essential after a big walk. Highly recommended but wear good shoes or boots.

You could get to the top and back down under 2 hours but I'd recommend paying over 2 hours so you don't have to worry about getting back in time.
Quite a large car park with 2 sides to park. I found it very easy to spot song the road, be careful the roads round there are quite narrow. Good news for the pay and display you can pay by card or cash, enter your registration and select either 2 hours or longer, I chose longer which was £4.80. im hit and miss with that price, we went up to see the New Year so we were around 3.5 hours, as we cooked a meal and took the long way round the Forrest, but if you're up and down 2 hours I think it was £2.80. I also think there were toilets at the car park, if they were they were closed when were there. The area is nice and clean. I also would definitely recommend going up at night in good weather, the lights around the area are lovely.
Enjoy a trip up roseberry topping. Never had major issues with parking but there has been a few where iv had to park on the grass verg on the road just outside of the entrance.. which a lot seem to do - I don't think there's any issues parking there?
Very good car park, shame toilets locked. Great launchpad for the summit!
