Stayed for 2 nights filthy room damp marks on seeling sauna broke down after 5 minutes steam room cold didnt heat up hot tub didn’t work was told it did got there it was off told it hadent been working for months pool was disgusting panel missing on roof dust in pool no life guard didn’t dare put head under water I was only in couple of minutes
When we checked into the hotel the first thing we did like anyone else would was check the pool out. Well after seeing it there was no way any of my children would be swimming in it as part of the ceiling had collapsed into the pool.
The room that we was in was dirty, dusty and very unhygienic. At around 9pm me and my family decided to make our way to the hotel bar. There was a very poor selection of drink. They also had no ice. When returning to our room we had no power what so ever. We had to wait in the lounge area while the electrician sorted the power out.
I would not go here ever again and I would advice people to stay away. I’ve been in hostels that are much better than this. Very very poor.
Booked into this hotel yesterday after waiting 10minutes for the reception to answer. The smell of must as you walk through the door was horrible. We were taken up 3flights of stairs that were disgusting, the carpets were all ripped and there was a horrible smell, wallpaper and paint on walls was coming off. Our room was horrible, window was broken and taps in bathroom constantly running, it was filthy and smelled of sewers. When told about the window the lady said sorry cant fix it. It was gale force winds yesterday i did not want to sleep with the window open. I would not reccomend this hotel to anybody. Its disgusting and we paid 129pounds for one night. I would not have paid 30 pounds for this hotel. Needs alot of updating and cleaning.
Believe all the reviews that you read. This hotel needs a full makeover. Room was cold and just felt unclean. The windows didn't shut properly and it was noisy with traffic throughout the night. As for the swimming pool, I've swam in warmer lakes. They also charge £5 per person for you to use the swimming pool that's to cold to swim in, a steam room that's not warm and smells of mold and a sauna which in all fairness was atleast warm. I'm happy to try any type of accommodation once. I've now tried this hotel and will never go again. There is plenty of choice for accommodation in Blackpool, choose one of the others.
APPALLING & RUDE STAFF - APPALLING HOTEL - SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN! We spent less then 15 minutes in the property, the hotel is worse then faulty towers, there was cables hanging out of walls, dirty towels, dirty bedding, dirty beds! None of the photos on Expedia match a single room in the hotel! The staff were very rude and wouldn't refund us the money after we told them we didn't feel safe staying in the property! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO A SINGLE PERSON OR ANIMAL TO STAY HERE!
You get what you pay or worse... bedroom was not clean, bathroom either, the spa nothing working or very dirty... window in the bedroom didn't work either. Bedroom was freezing when we can back in the evening. Also the day for the checkout, the door locker didn't work, it was broke and couldn't open the door from inside. Tried to call the hotel from my cellphone, no one answered, had to screw out the locker to be able to get out the room. Only thing good there is the staff, that was very nice and helpful.besides no one picking up the phone when we wanted to leave
the good bits. had a good sleep in a clean bed. shower was good and breakfast was ok but not great. staff are minimal but pleasant including the owner who I think is called Mohammed. both rooms we saw are spacious. the bad bits we asked for a sea view and got it but after spending 2 hours in it decided it was freezing beyond acceptable. the bed was broken the waĺlpaper was hanging off in places the shower wasn't controllable in this room and pipe trunking was ad hoc. the pool we was told had just been refilled the day before and therefore still cold but my guess is it not heated full stop and they offered the goto excuse. the lounge was closed because the roof had fallen in. judging by the decor it hasn't had a upgrade since 1980. the hotel must have 50 rooms but i saw only 2 other guests. breakfast was 9am till 10 and we was the only guests using it. our nights stay was only cost £58 but I've based my review on the claims on there website. I've given the rose spa 2 based on all I've seen. I wont go again but if your looking for a room with no frills then it's a option but there are better options for less
As soon as we walked in it smelt horrible which wasn't a good first impression. It took the woman 10 minutes to get to the desk. As we were taken up the stairs creeked and the carpets were disgusting. Our room had broken windows and theres a sewers behind the hotel. Overall we ended up not staying here and asked for a refund. I would never stop in this hotel for the price.
Where did they get the pictures of this hotel from ???? It wasn't anything like them. We took our 3 grandchildren and got them out of there asap didn't stay the night not even an hour. The room was smelly and dirty. I advise anyone not to go!!!! Really annoyed as we had to pay again for a different hotel this was supposed to be a treat for the kids but it was a nightmare. I wouldn't even given it 1 star but had to, to leave a review!!!!
Booked for a night away, and forgot to look at the reviews.. WHAT A MISTAKE!!! The service wasn't that bad, but then we got taken to our room. The room was really out dated, the ceiling looked like it could have fallen at any time, and the walls looked like they hadn't seen a paintbrush for years! The bathroom door looked like it had gone a round with Anthony Joshua aswell as the walls in the bathroom. The actual room door was full of marks and paint. The room didn't have any lamps so you had to keep the big light on if you wanted light, and I've seen tablets bigger than the tv. Not sure if the owners just aren't bothered, but I would highly recommend a complete refurbishment for the hotel. Ended up checking out at 3 in the morning and driving home.
