Great day out for railway enthusiasts or children. We are neither, but we enjoyed it too. Very dog and child friendly. Train drivers always happy to pose for photos.

Great train ride from Hythe to New Romney. Super train museum. Will revisit with grandchildren. Enjoyed climbing 169 steps to top of lighthouse at Dymchurch. Have recommended this day out to friends and family.

Good day out however quite expensive. Plenty to see and do in hythe but not alot else to do down the line. I can imagine it is better during peak summer when more shops are open and the weather is good enough to go to the beach.

Absolutely brilliant day out. Kids love it there and the steam train was wonderful. Fish and chips were gorgeous too.
