The desserts are to die for. If you're in the area it's definitely worth a visit. I've sinced moved back to London, but I really miss eating here and staring off out the window. Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Beats chain "Italian" any day. I'd recommend the Tiramisu.

Romeos has to be one of the best Italians there is! Family run fantastic food and right on the esplanade overlooking the sea!

It suddenly turned sunny while we enjoyed a lovely lunch in Romeo's today and finished it outside sitting in the sun looking out to sea... Sylvia

Lovely setting overlooking penarth pier and the sea. Found my lasagne went cold very quickly. Other mains pasta creamy salmon and two fish dishes very much enjoyed. Nice starters and desserts but not a wow.would go back to try again.

Pottering about in the Autumn Sun in Penarth. Romeo's kindly fitted us in for Sunday Lunch. Very happy with choice and we all enjoyed the food. We could only manage one dessert between us but it was superb. Also must be one of the best value places in Penarth.
