Story

Bistro Romano opened in 1999 and has since become one of the most loved restaurants in the area. Owners Romano & Paolo Minchella started their first restaurant in Seaburn over 30 years ago and has been delighting customers with great food, great ambience and great service ever since.

Came to Romanos for Sunday lunch to celebrate our wedding anniversary. As usual we were greeted by Paulo and his fantastic staff and shown to a beautifully set up table. They have a Sunday lunch and a pasta side menu. The wife opted for roast beef while I had stone bass on mash with leeks, both were fabulous. I can’t recommend this place enough, we will be back soon Wheelchair accessibility: No problem with wheelchair access

I used to love this place not anymore went for a double celebration and we were still waiting for someone to ask us what drinks we wanted when they came to ask for our food menu I was not impressed at all with slow service and will not be returning anytime soon it seemed locals were served before us and we were in the restauraunt before them
Lovely staff and beautiful food. The restaurant had a very welcoming atmosphere and we felt well taken care of from start to finish. We'll definitely be back, even if it's just got the goats cheese and fig starter, delicious!

My first visit to romanos. Food was delicious, that goes without saying. What was amazing was the patience and courtesy shown to our group which included our three grandchildren aged 3, 5 and 7. Thank you and we will be back very soon.Food: 5/5
Exceptional food and service in a well appointed restaurant. Menu choices were varied and interesting for a small bistro, with a good selection of Italian dishes and other main course choices canon of lamb, halibut, etc. The food itself was delicious and beautifully presented, and service was attentive without being intrusive. We visited at lunchtime so it was a little quiet, but I imagine it's has a lively evening atmosphere when fuller.
