Nice setting, pleasant staff, tasty food, not too long to wait. We went as a party of 8. All upstairs. Only bottled beers.
Excellent service from start to finish. I was with party of 14 and all various dietary requirements were accommodated. The food was of excellent standard and nothing was too much trouble for the waiting staff. Food and drinks orders were acted upon efficiently and promptly. Fully recommend this restaurant.

Have been to Romano's a number of times and every time has been excellent. Clean and tidy restaurant, friendly staff and lovely food. Staff are very helpful, recommending dishes for my wife when she wasn't sure what to have. Service was quick, but not rushed. Only possible issue is that, as this is up a flight of fairly steep stairs, it is not wheelchair or buggy accessible. Apart from that, I cannot recommend Romano's highly enough and will definitely be eating there again in the future.
Great, friendly Italian restaurant which always delivers a hearty meal made with fresh ingreedients and the best fish from Oldham Market. Great value for money, especially early in the evening and a regular venue for family birthday meals. Probably the best food and best value restaurant in the Oldham area. the whole family loves going there!
One of my all time favourite restaurants! We've been countless times in the past 9 years and have never had a bad meal. The food is always fresh and absolutely gorgeous, plus the staff are so friendly and always make a fuss over our 3 year old boy. It has a nice, welcoming feel to it and the prices are very reasonable. Puts a lot of other Italian restaurants especially chains! to shame. We live close to Manchester, but, in our opinion, nothing compares to Romanos.

Had a lovely meal with a group of friends choosing from the early evening specials menu. Very reasonable. Staff very friendly and food was hot to say there was 15+ of us all eating at once.
Very busy for the early bird menu bargain at £7 for pizza/pasta and coffee, quieted down afterwards. Food was good. Nice atmosphere, lots of steps to get up to it though.
After having good time in Oldham Coliseum Theatre my wife wanted to have desert and coffee before heading home. we decided to try Romanos. Place was almost empty 2 or 3 tables taken. We been seated, I asked waiter could we have deserts menu and coffees, because we didn't felt like having a meal. Waiter went to the kitchen and came back few minutes later, and asked us out because he said that they don't do just deserts and coffees and we need to order some food if we want to stay. I don't think it's good for business, because we will never go back there.
