Ordered fish box meal. Staff unaware of their own menu above their head. Only realised after that I was overcharged. No common sense with their packaging. Box of fish thrown into chip bag and vinegar dumped over it causing packaging to all fall apart. Bottom of bag dripping oil the moment i got it because food was put straight into bag from fryer. Chips were well overcooked and chewy on outside. No taste at all off them even with all the vinegar. Asked for salt tasted none. Same story with the fish. Overcooked, batter rock hard when trying to bite into it. Had to spit the fish out after second attempt because of the texture. Have no clue what type of fish they’re using in there but regardless they have no idea how to cook it. All went into bin. Don’t waste your money.
Food is desperate. Got a double burger with "salad, onion, ketchup & mayo" there was half a strand of onion and 1 shred of iceberg. The onion rings were so soggy the batter was white and floppy, and the chips albeit a massive portion were chewy and leathery. Its not the first time the food wasnt great but it has gotten worse. Definitely wont be ordering from here agin.
Chips were chewy and greasy, as if they'd been reheated a few times in oil that wasn't hot enough! And the taste from the oil was mank! Kids wouldn't even eat them! All 3 bags went straight into the bin!!! Will never go there again..
Staff tend to give out wrong orders, chips are mostly overdone or dry, most of the time can be hit and miss, staff need to be be able to wrap their kebabs properly once opened its just a big mushy mess! Literally just thrown onto the tin foil!
Worst service, and laugh at you whilst they deliver it. Prioritise online/phone orders over people standing Inside the ‘shop’ avoid like the plaque and hopefully they will go out of business soon
This is my local chipper , have been going here 30 years . Unfortunately these days it's terrible. Worst chipper in lucan . Used to be a real Italian chipper but like a lot of chippers these days it not run by Italians anymore and it shows . Go to Sam's in leixlip if you want real chipper food .
Decent chip shop. Great chips but portions sizes can often leave you wanting. Would usually go for the smoked cod in batter and when cooked right it is amazing, but its 50/50 as to whether its cooked right or overdone. Decent overall but unfortunately could do with some improvement from my experience
Food has been of good quality and hot. Also Chip are not bits, but full proper Chips and good portions. Qtr Pounder Should be Larger, but it was very tasty.
Terrible service 35min waiting on burger and chips outside the shop, kept being told 10min just eat takes priority. Then the food was dripping in greece and literally tastless. Second time this happened in the last month.
Yesterday I paid for 2 cheesburgers and chips, and "fresh cod" and chips. Cod was awful, burnt and dry inside, batter not intact. Chips poor. It was around 2pm, maybe a bad time, but dont be open if not ready. Been there before and was happy with meal, but yesterday, very very poor
