Visited this place yesterday just to try their food. I ordered a diablo pizza., couldn't believe it was Є13.5,... so for that money I was expecting something special. Waited 15 minutes so on collecting I couldn't believe how small it was I was just on way back to ask where the rest was. I literally had a 10 second walk back to car., on opening I thought some had fallen through the bottom of the pizza box , there's was literally nothing there as seen in photos. It was cold as well, probably colder than my dead granny. Base pizza you are a rip off
Usually the pizza there is well Presented and fresh. The last two times I had bad experiences. On the first one, pizza took 1h40 to arrive, yesterday I ordered again and the presentation was poor and the taste, ok. Prosciutto crudo and fresh basil shouldn’t go to the oven, but they put, not enough sauce and mozzarella, my impression was that the pizza was long time made and it was reheat.
My pizza arrived 20 minutes late not a single word of apology was given and it was cold. At this price range I expected better service. Shame because the pizza was tasty and they have good vegan options.
Ordered 3 pizzas for New Year’s Eve. The chicken pizza was fine but the other two were very undercooked, soggy and the crust was not crispy. Very disappointing. We would always order from Base but this will put us off for a while until they improve.
Very disappointed with the order from base wood pizza LUCAN. Ordered 2 sides of meatballs and surprised by their standard . Burnt meat balls .

We had a great time eating DELICIOUS pizza in Lucan delivered last Friday. Cant compare to any pizza around Lucan. All staff so friendly and helpful. Good manners over the phone brilliant! And last night I got serve with the Manager I think absolutely fantastic. Great attitude : Feel crapped all day in work but with the services I got last night it is worth ordering. 6* by the way my daughter said drives looking great! ;
Tried to order through the app. I got a discount voucher from my mobile provider. You have to place order before you any 'vouchers' then they say the voucher will apply after you enter your card details. Then you place order, no discount. I had to call the shop to cancel the order 3 times, the guy on the phone was pleasant enough but he was getting fed up with me calling. Nearly €100 waiting to be refunded in 3 - 5 days. Joke
Love the vegan options, really tasty pizza!! Staff are always nice. Minor gripe is it is expensive and unlike eg Dominos the deals don’t auto apply on the app. So if you don’t select the meal deal option in advance, but even if you end up ordering two pizzas which should be counted as the meal deal, the app won’t recognise this and you’ll pay extra.
Very high quality pizza. They could put bit more of the toppings.
