A month ago we had a group of 14 for a birthday celebration. Everybody was very pleased with their meals Sadly the birthday cake while adequate was not a patch on the one we got two years in similar circumstances. Good but not cheap and possibly getting less good with passing years.
We had a superb experience in Roly Saul last weekend. The food was excellent and with a group of fifteen people we sampled most things on the menu. The staff were really friendly and helpful and our main server couldn't have been better in ensuring we had a really special experience. Highly recommended

Had the set menu for nephew's confirmation. Had just a humble burger and they got it wrong. Meat was bland and tasteless, bun was hard. Not very pleasant. Chips were frozen also. Expected more tbh. Starter wasn't bad, had black pudding. Place was cold. All the ladies complaining about it, they all had their jackets on. My brother was there previously and he said that it was cold then also. Not very nice to sit down to a meal when you're not comfortable. All in all I wouldn't go back.
After having visited Roly's in Ballsbridge I was unfortunately disappointed here. The food was acceptable and tasty but it did not live up to the Roly's name that I have experienced previously. The staff are very friendly and interacted with the kids in our group offering crayons and didn't seem bothered when they started getting a little bored and were running around a bit. If it were a restaurant with any other name I would give it 5 stars.
Twice visited because of recommendations.. hmm.. food poor, prices exorbitant children's food diabolical. My son ordered a burger, presented with half a burger not sure what became of other half in untoasted bun... daughter got bolognese.. or as I would describe it as chopped celery in pasata on penne... what kid eats celery???... done with Roly's... feel like it's a test at this stage.
Love this restaurant in Dundrum. Great food, very reasonable and a lovely atmosphere to catch up with friends. Ideal after a shopping trip to Dundrum. Looking forward to going back again next Tuesday night ........
Nice place, just a bit cold - possibly due to single glaze windows. Nice food too. Helpful staff. Gluten free bread available as well.
Copious and refined cuisine, interesting takes on dishes and quality ingredients. A nicely refurbished building in Dundrum, staff charming and funny.
5 Star all the way. Welcoming Efficient staff. Ambience so relaxing. Food Superb. Value for money. Take a bow all involved well deserved.
