Really awful experience with this company. Serviced boiler... after failing to turn up for first appointment, and left it with leaks. Also didn't clean out the Magnaclean filter as somehow between him and the previous guy who serviced it from the same company, the spanner had gone missing, but denied all knowledge. Engineer bad tempered and rude. Heating and hot water packed up 3 weeks after service due to failure to re-pressurise system. No hot water or heating end November! came out again and left me with jammed tap so I can't use it myself to re-pressurise system. Expensive rates too, for bad workmanship. David, please don't offer to discuss it with me as we've already had that discussion!
Clarkes were due today Friday 12 to 4.30pm to give me a quote for boiler service, new radiator and two thermostats needing adjustment. At 4pm I received a call cancelling due to the engineer dealing with a gas leak elsewhere. Whilst I accept these things happen this was booked on the 29th September, so having waited a month obviously I was not too happy on being told the next available day would be a further two weeks on the 10th November. Question: why was this job not the first on the list on Monday morning? It would seem I’d been put to the back of the queue. I therefore cancelled the entire thing.
