Dropped in today and bought some produce to try as looking for a new butchers.Bacon for brunch was delicious and decent quality, not pumped full of water like inferior meats elsewhere.Sirloin steak for dinner was tender and again very good quality with nice marbling .Bought ribeye steaks and their homemade sausages for my freezer. Overall great business with friendly service so I will be returning
I recently bought minced and diced beef and diced lamb shoulders. Amazing quality! The staff is very friendly too. Will never go back where I used to buy meat.
We have been using R Browns Butchers for a little under two years now and have never been disappointed. The quality of the meat is excellent and the knowing where the meat is sourced from, and the high-welfare farms the meat comes from is the main reason we continue to use them. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable with great tips on how to store, season and cook the meats. They also have an excellent selection of cured cooked meats alongside an assortment of condiments and even Honey in the summer. The made on site barbeque selection has become a firm family favourite with family members submitting their orders for the best burgers in Birmingham. Give them a try and you'll never find better!

We bought a beef fillet to do a Wellington this weekend. We wanted to do the experience of actually doing it, My partner and 2 of my sons had it for dinner. Wow it was the most amazing piece of beef I have ever cooked. We possibly didn’t even do it justice but there isn’t a scrap left. Superb quality I can’t say any more. We will be back again. Thank you.
Great meat, wonderful staff - the quality of the produce is excellent and the staff are willing to go over & above to help with their customers. Ribeye excellent and tender, we had a fabulous roast sirloin at the weekend, and the quality is superb. Support your local businesses - worth a visit!
Browns is brilliant. Knowledgeable staff who always have time to talk you through what you need. Brilliant meat every time. I cannot recommend them enough.

Recently purchased 4 shoulders of lamb plus a steak, half a mutton leg and some minced beef from this wonderful local butcher. 1 of the shoulders, the half mutton leg and the minced beef are enjoying a rest in our freezer, but we barbecued the 3 lamb shoulders last Friday evening for a party for our social group - the meat was tender, succulent and absolutely delicious. Can't wait to try the left-overs in a shepherd's pie! The steak was barbecued at home last night - and was every bit as delicious as the afore-mentioned lamb! Again, tender and succulent ...Thanks for these wonderful cuts, Browns! They really do sell the most wonderful meat!
Old fashioned butchers with traditional service. Everything is first class quality & the butchers will offer advice & prep any meat for you while u wait even at busy times. Meat all tastes amazing & whether u are catering for a banquet or just buying 2 sausages you are guaranteed the same friendly & helpful service with a smile. Highly recommended
