"With trees and fields all around, Meadow Farm is aptly named. Our beautiful barn conversion pub is in prime position, just minutes from the M42. We have an extensive range of great pub food to choose from, with all main courses catered for everyone. So spend less money on eating out, and you can bring the whole family. Food is served all day till late at Meadow Farm. Then, if you want to stay over you can book a room in our hotel next door. We hope to see you soon."
You wouldn't understand how grateful we we're for such a peaceful and quiet night. We had an appalling night the previous night elsewhere and scanned booking.com for somewhere that would actually be away from any kind of roads and we came across your establishment and we had a GREAT night's sleep. The staff are friendly and welcoming and although we didn't have a meal then desserts were great.
Had a wake here after funeral. Excellent buffet we had gold buffet plenty of choice and loads of food. Staff were lovely constantly topping up the buffet. The food left at end was bagged up by staff and the guests were able to take it home. Staff were attentive kind and catered to all our needs. I would recommend this as an ideal venue for a wake.
First time we've been here and was pleasantly impressed with the historic & architectural style building. The restaurant decor throughout was lovely, clean and well maintained. 1. The food was really nice, I had the mixed grill as did my Dad, it was all cooked perfectly. Nice juicy steak, lovely gammon, chicken and sausages. My Mum had Sausages, mash, peas and gravy, nice portion and very tasty. 2. All the staff are very pleasant as was the young waitress who serviced us. 3. The ambiance was perfect. The restaurant had a great atmosphere, and the decor was nice. 4. Overall, this was an a really nice dining experience. The food, service and ambiance were all top-notch. I will definitely be back when i come up from Cardiff to visit my Niece. Also plenty of car parking and disabled parking
I used to visit Meadow Farm regularly to eat but stopped a few years ago as the food went downhill. My wife and I went there last night as we'd heard it had different owners and staff. We were welcomed in and the waitress was really nice and helpful. We both ordered steak, I have it well done, my wife has it medium rare. Both came out extremely overdone, the chips were also overdone. I ate mine as I don't mind things being overdone but my wife couldn't even cut it let alone eat it. I was charged for the food I ate but not my wife's after complaining. We weren't even compensated. I was told that there was only one person in the kitchen and there were around 10 customers, as we left it was filling up. The table next to us also complained about the food, all overcooked. Surely if they haven't got the kitchen staff don't sell the food. We'll never go back.
Had a really good meal here. The staff were very friendly, the food was of a good standard, it was hot, and we did not have to wait very long. Nobody at my table had any complaints, and we were happy with the price. A positive dining experience , thank you.Rooms: 5/5
The food had to be sent back as it had not been "heated" up ,still fridge cold so clearly this was food that was prepared and just need heating. The food was not consumed once returned as this was obviously just put in the microwave and then chopped up to be presented differently. General state of building is very dirty, all seats have stains on them. Only plus side, staff very friendly and courteous. Rooms were not great either. Cobwebs....noise from above, cheeky floor but it was an old building.
We went for a family meal of 30 people, for a special birthday, we were given an area to our selves. Wendy was brilliant she very patiently got all our orders using our names and table number and added all our tabs separately which made it really easy when paying. The Food came in really good time, it felt we didn't have to wait long at all. The food was really nice I loved my cheese and potato pie. They cleared the tables quickly and were very polite, another lady helped she was lovely too. If we asked for anything they were very polite and got it for us. The whole evening was great, thankyou to the meadow farm team, We will be back again soon.
We came to meadow farm for my parents wedding anniversary meal. There was 10 of us altogether and we have an autistic son, with lots of additional needs. Seanah was our waitress and she was amazing nothing was too much trouble for her. She made sure was son was catered for and he loved the food as she listened to what he needed. The whole evening was wonderful. Highly recommend this restaurant, the service, the food and the wonderful staff. We will be returning as my son now feels comfortable to go there and eat again.
Great quality ales, food OK and good value without being great oil in fryer might need a change. By far the best aspect of my stay was the bubbly service from Kassie, Gemma and Seanah... all a credit to the business.Rooms: 4/5
We enjoyed a drink in their outside space last Friday evening, the space itself was lovely, great ambience. The service we had wasn't great though. The bar person who served us initially was nice but the subsequent servers were all very slow and disorganised, and when we hadn't received our food order it turned out that they had given it to another table so we ended up with a refund as it was too late to redo the order. Although not out of pocket this left us rather hungry so probably wouldn't order food here again.
