If it’s a greasy spoon you’re looking for?… congrats! You have arrived. Greasy. I felt it was a bit pricey too be honest. This plate here was over a tenner. I know this because I had to go to the cash machine because they don’t do card payments. After withdrawing a tenner, I realised I had to try again and get another tenner out! The staff were ‘ok’… the guy didn’t have much time for me when I was dithering how to make my choice under a tenner. It didn’t work, and the bill rang in at £11.60 or summin’ like that. The sausages weren’t quality. Nor was any of it tbf. The mushrooms were saturated with grease and the bread was probably a 49p loaf of white nothingness. My tummy hurts a little bit even an hour or so later. My advice would be to care more.
Stopped by here twice last week as we work all over the country & found this excellent cafe. Very welcoming & friendly & the sausages were incredible. Brilliant caramel latte’s & well priced. Options to eat in or take out.<b>Recommended dishes</b>English Breakfast, Steve Full
Good food, but the new waitresses do not have a clue what is what, they act as if they don't want to be there and being made to feel I am an inconvenience to them. They need some short sharp lessons in life. Tables were filthy dirty when I went in. Took a while to get my whole order. In short, it would be a much better place if their youngsters got a rocket up the back side.
Should be called Ropey Cafe! Terrible food! had a breakfast here and it was inedible even the tea was horrible! This man cannot cook and should find himself another profession! Should have known better when it was empty on a Friday morning! I will definitely not be returning ever again!
Great friendly staff with a good selection of food and drink. Would recommend it.
Worst fry up I've ever had the tomatoes where like rocks they was so hard
Nothing special Beans were cold and were spilt all over the side of the plate Most of it was pre cooked and just reheated Don't cater for food allergies eg lacto free milk /soya milk
Nicely cooked English breakfast with a few choices of combinations at reasonable prices. Seating is available outside if you prefer, and functional booths inside. Friendly service and fairly swift even at busier times.
This was an excellent choice for a morning breakfast. Well worth the money and so enjoyable. Wheelchair accessibility: Was able to get into cafe easily and sit comfortably at the table.
The man that runs it is really nice , good prices glad it was there need something quick to eat felt better after
