Established in 1909 we are the local family solicitor with offices in Accrington, Blackburn and Clitheroe.

Story

Established in 1909 by Roger Oddie, Roebucks have practiced law in Blackburn for over 100 years. We are proud of that tradition of service to the region and the town. The practice has expanded into Hyndburn when we opened our Accrington Offices in 2007 and more recently the Ribble Valley when we opened our Clitheroe Offices in 2012.

The years have brought many changes, but we have consistently met the challenge of responding to new developments in the legal and business world and have maintained that tradition of professionalism and personal service whilst introducing new People, new skills and new technology.

We believe we have a careful balance of 'youth' and 'maturity' which has created a highly motivated and responsive team keen to build on past achievements.

The future will demand even higher standards of judgment, skills and experience from the professional services sector and we must always be ready to respond decisively.

Our commitment to our clients has never changed. We know their businesses, their needs, their objectives and their expectations of us as their legal advisers.

This knowledge comes from a close working relationship which we encourage at all times through key partner involvement, with close and regular communication.

We also participate in events to raise funds for local charities including Salvation Army, Clitheroe Foodbank, Age UK and East Lancashire Hospice.

We are a committed Legal Aid practice and have been awarded THREE specialist help contracts assuring you of a quality service. Our Solicitors are also members of Resolution (formerly The Solicitors Family Law Association), The Children Panel, Mental Health Review Tribunal Panel, and The Duty Solicitor Scheme.

Our Partners and offices are accessible to ensure communication is easy and our advice is always readily available. Roebucks is currently sited in two centrally located offices on Richmond Terrace in Blackburn, an office on Cannon Street in Accrington and an office on King Street in Clitheroe.
