Excellent pub, staff and food &drinks We used the app to order which was quicker then going bar to order. Spent 2 hours in beer garden , dog friendly aswell. Plenty tables outside spread out nicely. 5 star pub.
Love this place and have been many times. Had dinner there which was good as usual, a good one way system set up. Stayed overnight and the room was comfortable but some of them need a little TCL but for a 300 year old place... breakfast was good too.
Had a funeral here. Glen was brilliant helping with the planning for a very tight funeral deadline. His team were friendly and welcoming on the day. Service ran very smoothly. Food was nice and tasty. All covid regulations were in place. Fab job. Thanks for your support.
Service is good and the bar staff are really friendly. Genuinely want to help. The food is as good as spoons and the portions are good value for money. I like how theres a lot of room to sit round the back and the beer garden looks big. Would definitely go back.
My first visit to a pub since before lock down and I felt safe sat out at the well spaced tables in the gardens and ordering food and drinks on the Green king app. A good safe practise in place in the pub as well . Table waiter's wore masks as well. All good.
Great pub. Great good only few things left them down. More tea bags and sugar milk for rooms. If your there for week towels should be changed 2 or 3 time week. Plus bed change once week as well. Shame the pub not down south
