Mother's day Brunch Our food was great, looked good, tasted good! We got the kids some waffle and syrup. It was a cheap option for the kids, however they appear to be straight out of a packet. I was expecting something slightly better All in all though, happy, and I'll be coming again for sure
I stopped at the Cafe with a group of my cycling buddies There's a lovely atmosphere and the staff are friendly and helpful. We visited on a Saturday and booked a table ahead of arriving. It was busy so there was a bit of a wait for food and drinks - we didn't mind as it definitely worth it - great coffee and lovely breakfast Goodies are also available to take away A visit is recommended.
Lovely little spot to sit and watch the world go by! As Grandma did safe from the road for our 3year old and our blueberry pancakes and coffee were delicious too! Would prefer to have had a none dairy milk option free 50p charge but that’s minor
I met my brother and sister for breakfast, we decided on Rocksalt cafe Stockport. We were not disappointed the waitresses were attentive and efficient, the food was just amazing! We all had different things and everything was just perfect, none of us are generally easy pleased so that says volumes! The manageress Greek lady was just the icing on the cake she clearly loves her work and she had her eyes on everything, the kitchen, waiting staff, customers, and the contractor outside! She even took then cake wow! I had a fabulous breakfast followed by home made pancakes, fruit, syrup and cream! We will definitely return when we treat ourselves next, thankyou again Sharon Weston Super Mare!
We visit Rock Salt on a regular basis and have always leave with a very positive experience. The cafe bar has such a lovely vibe and the staff are always pleasant and welcoming. A special mention goes to Vera whose commitment to the business is both obvious and outstanding. Steve is also a lovely and hard working member of staff. Jamie has a great command of the kitchen … the team turns out food of a consistently high standard and we always thoroughly enjoy our meals there. All-in-all our favourite place to eat in Heaton Moor. Thank you to Jason for getting it ‘so right’. Mike and Katrina
I've been a fan of Rock Salt for a good few years now but have been particularly impressed on a couple of recent visits where the team have done an amazing job accommodating a very large party of mum-friends and all their little ones! We were made to feel very welcome despite the inevitable liveliness of our party and thoroughly enjoyed all of our food, which catered to a wide range of tastes too. A really lovely place and one I'd highly recommend for all of your coffee/prosecco/brunch/lunch/cake needs, and a massive plus that it's so child-friendly too
My first time in today after my fiancée said they did an awesome BLT. She wasn't wrong, that's a tasty BLT and the chips are perfect. Great atmosphere. Great staff, friendly but nothing intrusive. Worth every penny, will return.
Love to visit this little place. Only rating as 4 for food and service cause menu has changed a bit since I last went and busy at lunch. Still great food but portions looked smaller. Great if you book a table for brunch, otherwise can be sat at smaller tables and can feel abit crammed, but overall worth the visit.Food: 4/5
Terrible service, terrible attitude and sone staff cannot handle working in a busy bar. The owner is entitled, dramatic and aggressive. One staff member was very rude and belligerent. To be balanced there is one lovely lad working behind the bar who did try to serve me but was stopped. Went in last night for a Xmas drink. Only had a couple of drinks previously with our meal so none of us was even close to merry. My 3 friends order a cocktail and are served a cocktail. I order mine last and I’m refused as it’s too busy for cocktails apparently even though my friend was served 30 seconds before. I challenge this therefore and say that I’m surprised I’m not allowed a cocktail as you just served my friend she was passed a cocktail menu and we are in bar which is supposed to serve cocktails. Still refused so I order a different drink and carrying on chatting to my friends. Pretty much forget about it and carry one. None of this was witnessed by the owner she wasn’t even there during the exchange. The landlady comes out and throws me out for making her staff member cry? For asking a simple question particularly as my friend was served immediately before me in fact handed a cocktail menu she was audacious, loud, aggressive, slammed her own bar door in front of all her customers and threatened to call the police - for what?? ordering a cocktail and questioning why I couldn’t have one? I told her to call them as it wasn’t me that would be getting arrested! I’m taking the issue further as her behaviour was unacceptable & highly aggravating. When you shout at a customer like that you shouldn’t be surprised when they shout back. I’m glad my friends and other patrons witnessed the whole weird debacle. Terrible bar.
Never had a disappointing experience at Rocksalt. We love coming here for either a midweek coffee or a Friday night out. The staff are always so friendly and you feel really welcomed.
