Lovely cafe with a nice sun trap at the back. Have had delicious things from the lunch and breakfast menu and was impressed with both. They have tasty salads and the coffee is good too. Will definitely return!Food: 5/5
Food is mostly delicious and appears freshly prepared & artesan style. My only criticism is that the homemade guacamole has too much chilli as it burned my tongue and takes away flavour from everything else. A but pricey for breakfast, but eating out everywhere is thes days. The coffee is very good.Food: 4/5
I'm a regular visitor to this cafe and often have a positive experience. However I felt compelled to share my husbands most recent experience when he visited with our 1yo for lunch - in short, he waited 45 minutes for anyone to take his order at which point his time was limited and our son was getting by on snacks. He visited the counter multiple times only to be told by staff they would 'be there in a minute' but then no one followed up. Both tables either side who arrived around the same time ordered and received their meals before staff approached my husband to say 'oh you've not received your food?' to which my husband replied his order had not even been taken despite several visits to the counter and flagging down of staff. The staff kept reiterating that they were 'very busy' which we appreciate, we're not unreasonable people, but the lack of communication between staff and attentiveness to all customers in this case was unacceptable. What's worse, my husband was seated directly across from the counter and thus in direct view of all staff. My husband did his best to be polite in his frustration when he complained, wary of his tone around our son and other customers, and was offered a free drink. As a gesture this was appreciated however he was not asked what he would like, and was given a white coffee which he doesn't drink. I appreciate perhaps my husband should have been more direct and insisted he ordered at the counter much earlier, but he could see and appreciate the staff were busy and had good faith he'd be attended to, like the tables around him. A very disappointing level of service.
What a fantastic little gem of a place. Food was one of the best avocado on toast I’ve eaten. Phoebe the waitress was brilliant. Can’t wait to come again.Food: 5/5
Terrible! I used to adore this place when we lived in Manchester. Under new management and sadly getting it totally wrong. Waited an hour for an our full breakfast, it was partly cold, missed items, and dried out / overcooked in parts. Meat sausages were very tasty though! Waited too long to order and then for a drink to arrive too. Also over priced for the value. £84 for 4 people to have breakfast. The place felt dirty and a bit tired - the toilets were shabby and not clean! Fed back and didn’t take anything off the bill! Couldn’t believe it! Will not be returning and it’s really put me off. We were so disappointed Vegetarian options: Veggie sausages were so dehydrated - barely inedible
Lovely atmosphere unless it's really busy. It's dog friendly so you need to aware of this if it's an issue. Staff friendly, but service sometimes a little slow. Cakes and breakfasts are amazing. Not cheap but worth it.Food: 5/5
Beautiful place. Amazing food. Brilliant service. Zoran and Jason owners were so welcoming and helpful. Will definitely go again soon. Parking: Street parking available
Food is normally good. Had shakshuka. Was overcooked. Egg was boiled not poached. Music was too loud so front of house couldn't hear my order properly. Would normally give 4 stars but being unable to cook an egg is poor. Please sand the tables down because the cleaning products are reacting with the varnish and making the tables sticky.
Great little coffee/deli, food is amazing. Perfect for lunch, nice sandwiches and pies/keesh. The owner also bakes some lovely cakes! You can also sit outside at the back on a warm day, but also has nice indoor seating on the colder day!
Food is great! First time tried tabbolueh and it was so good, couscous salad is another favourite dish. Interior is very interesting and it gets you thinking what’s the theme. Though it was a bit too much packed which is not so good in corona times.
