Had lunch hear today, the staff were very friendly and the food was really good.I wanted to try the chilli chicken which was not on the lunch menu, when I asked if it was available, they were happy to cook it for me which was delicious. My son also just wanted egg fried rice which again was not on the menu, they had no hesitation to cater for our needs. Worth a visit, I would have liked to have seen more authentic variety on the lunch menu but other than that I would recommend.

Walm welcome with tender chicken, succulent and flavoursome lamb. Good choice of ale which were kept very well. Staff are attentive and upbeat. The food i would highly recommend.

We were renting a cottage very near by. The Roadmaker Inn was a short walk. We were made very welcome. Good pub food and a friendly place to relax. The Sunday pub quiz was a toughie especially the music round. We had a laugh!

After having a lovely meal there previously, we travelled 15 miles for a family meal. We specifically stipulated a table in the restaurant and this was confirmed for us twice. When we arrived the owner told us he had been on the call and said the table had been confirmed for the bar which is actually inside a pub. I know this was untrue as my father in law had the call on speakerphone and I heard the call exactly. The owner was very rude and wouldn’t accept his mistake and wouldn’t find a table for us so we had to leave. My father in law used the restaurant regularly so they have lost a good customer now after such rude service. That is not the way to treat customers!
