Bad experience - Unsatisfactory Will writing, dreadful communication - you have to send 2 emails and make 2 calls to get a response, two pieces of bad legal advice which affected myself financially - they promised to pay off the debt and still awaiting payment. The are slow to understand the facts in cases as an excuse to delay. The conveyance of our home stated that they did a drain survey and I have evidence that they never even inspected our drain. 7 pieces of bad feedback my advice is go to BARWELLS.

After many years of having documents sworn and my last will witnessed by Rix and Kay I telephoned for an appointment to arrange for an updated will to be witnessed. They refused this simple action saying it was not company policy. Let's go back a few years when goodwill in the community meant professionals helping one another whose Clients were not not local to them.

Most unhelpful. I went in asking for someone to witness a signature on a document and was told they do not do this if you are not an existing client. The receptionist was off hand and in a dismissive way suggested I try Dawson and Hart. I did. They were most helpful and polite and charged £5. When I next need a solicitor, you can be sure I will NOT go back to Rix and Kay. Poor show.

Rix and Kay are an amateur firm .My husband has been in litigation proceedings for well over 2 years .They do not reply to private or professional letters.My estate is worth in excess of 3 million yet was allowed to be divided without estate account being prepared.I have asked numerous times for maintenance accounts full and detailed which are being witheld from me .Peter Goring .They are trying to put the blame on the previous solicitors steer clear .
