Always had my skis serviced with these guys, but this year I needed new boots after ten years. I have to say that I always liked my old boots until last year when they started to become a tad sloppy. So…. Time for new boots. I phoned up to check the process on fitting and charges as I was little confused on the fitting costs. Turned up Sunday 13:00pm, made to feel welcome but we’re up north so expected nothing less, chatted through options and technical details. Being a girl, I like to choose my boots by aesthetics I can honestly say it’s the first time I’ve been educated on the biometrics of my feet and ankles, but everything made sense. Two hours later, sat in my new boots which I can only describe as slippers! Fantastic service, very engaging and made a few new friends in the process. Highly recommend Graham, well worth the cost for the expert fitting.
Had issues with numbness and cold feet with hire boots. The boots I had fitted at Alpine have been great on 2 weeks away last season. The service and guarantee are what stand out about my boot fitting experience. Learning about how a ski boot should fit and body mechanics when skiing was highly valuable. A great service
My wife and I just had our ski boot fitting and it was excellent. Graham was amazing - knowledgeable, personable and made the whole experience a pleasure - we both left the shop with new boots which fit like a glove and it's great to know we supported an independant retailer in the process.

Thanks Steve Update: I’ve just done 10 ski tour days in the new boots. Due to the time spent in getting the fitting right by Graham, the boots performed like a dream. No friction or contact issues on the climb, yet perfect connection and feedback with the boots for the descents. Can’t recommend this place enough. Faultless
I can’t say enough wonderful things about the ski boot fitting service. As a woman with chunkier legs I had thought my best ski days were behind me. Step up Rivington Alpine and Graham’s fantastic, calm & amazing service and I have just enjoyed one of the best weeks of skiing that I’ve had in years. The service I received was amazing - Graham spent time explaining everything to me and providing confidence and reassurance that the boots would fit perfectly even when I doubted that’s how it would be. I’d give 100 stars if I could and would absolutely recommend! Thank you Graham!
I spent 2.5 hours getting fitted with a pair of K2 Pinnacles by Andy along with plenty of tea!. The difference custom made boots have made to my skiing is amazing. Money well spent. I can't recommend Rivington Alpine highly enough. I have a 2 year warranty as well. Thanks.
Brilliant service and concept which enabled me to go skiing again for the first time in 40 years. Having extremely problematic feet, I had given up on my passion for skiing years ago until I had Rivington Alpine recommend to me. My new custom moulded boots were amazing, even in quite challenging conditions at the end of March. So grateful for their knowledge and patience in getting me the absolute perfect new boots and customised fitting them to my rubbish feet. Could not have gone skiing again without them and I loved it. 100% recommended!
Graham provided a really professional and thorough boot fitting service. He explained every step of the process and why it was important. I'm really looking forward to trying my new boots out on the piste and have the peace of mind that, should I need anything in the fit tweaking, I can go back to Graham to get it sorted. I would definitely recommend Rivington Alpine.
Two years in slippers led to a less than comfortable January week in Morzine. Solution - visit to Rivington Alpine for a re-fit to my Dalbello 90 boots. Result - great week in The 3 Valleys. Knowledgeable, quality service as always at Rivington Alpine. There's nowhere better for ski boots and great customer service in the North West
I don't leave many reviews - but these guys definately warrant one. There are very few companies these days that take responsibility for what they do. I bought boots many years ago before they moved for Horwich and Rivington stand by what they sold me, and if there's tweaks to be done - they'll do them. They don't tell you what they think you want to hear - in fact on my first visit many years ago, I scrapped by boots I wanted refitted and got new ones. They'll explain why you need things and take the time, every visit over the years has been a first class experience with people who are passionate and knowledgable about what they do. It's nice to meet other customers in the store who are also part of the loyal following who appreciate and take the solid advice given. Couldn't reccomend Graham and team enough.
