I've been bringing my boys here for a few years now and we love it! Never had any issues and staff have always been friendly and helpful. I think the only disappointing thing about this stay is the WiFi price, its insane! The WiFi connection is so bad that I can't even use it so I've wasted £20. I'd also say the arcades used to be really good but they've updated it all. we much prefer it how it was before and then paying £15 for two drinks at the bar for my kids... Its madness! This is probably our last visit struggling with bills but we do love this place!
Great place to holiday. Haven is always good, but this place for me as a mobility scooter user, is perfect. The whole place is level and easy to get around, our caravan was spotless and adapted wet room very accessible. I could drive my scooter straight inside which makes recharging very simple. My grandchildren loved the pools and the outside play areas. Thank you Haven for a very enjoyable holiday.
Great site. Great parks. Swimming pool needs a make over. The New arcades and soft play is great. The entertainment for children could be better and longer in the evenings. If the children are entertained more the parents may tend to stay for longer!!!!
The site is lovely and clean. Having three pools to choose from is fantastic. Outside is a must, even when it's chilly outside due to it being slightly heated can be enjoyed in all weathers. Entertainment for the kids, we did most of the morning and evening sessions. Maybe not so much bingo and more disco for them. But day time, rounders, pirate hunts are fantastic. Thank you
We are just back from a wonderful stay at Riverside Caravan Club. Our caravan itself was very small and quite dated with some of the fixtures and fittings needing a seeing to, however our expectations for a Bronze van on a Sun Holiday deal weren't high and this didn't spoil our experience. The site is in the middle of a retail/industrial park off the busy main road, which is a strange setting, however once inside you just have that usual caravan holiday feel with nice enough surroundings, and as the park is much smaller than we are used to being independent rather than a chain, it feels very safe and secure. The only downside was our van was positioned to the rear of the park, alongside the dual carriageway, so at night the traffic was noisy but you got used to it. The facilities on site are good, although the park could benefit from its own shop, just for convenience. That said you have Tesco, Sainsburys, M&S food, as well as places like Burger King, Costa, McDonalds etc etc just outside the park. Whilst there is a restaurant, the choice on the menu was quite limited, but we found we could order Just Eat, Deliveroo and the like to our door, so that solved a problem! The arcade was basic, but good enough to keep my kids busy/happy/wasting money . The kids club entertainers and characters were good fun, and even though the park was fairly empty when we went, they still gave maximum effort. We were fortunate enough to have had wonderful weather during our break which meant we benefitted from the heated outdoor pool which was glorious. For a while I felt like I was abroad rather than at Bognor! Its been a while, ha!. The kids splash pool was cold, but children went in regardless, enjoying the little sprinkler and slide. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were lovely too. There is a little adventure park/ playground which my 3 loved, and spent a lot of time playing and making friends. The site is a 5 minute drive from the lovely Hotham Park which is well worth a visit, and no more than a 10 minute drive to the beach. The actual distance "as the crow flies isn't far", however you have to navigate the one way system on the exit from the park to end up going in the right direction which is what adds to the time. Overall we had a fabulous time and I would definitely love to visit again.
Caravan was nothing like advert , we had to clean the kitchen and remove stuck on food from side of cupboards. Could not sit on sofa it was filthy and stank also no headboard in double bedroom shower. ROOM was dirty and shower frame , carpets were filthy . Would not recommend to anyone ,cut our stay short it smelt awfu
We stayed for 3 nights out of season end of March. We had good weather but nights still cold. We didn't have central heating, but electric heaters provided and adequate. Van was tired but super clean and spacious. 3 beds all tight on space but fine and good living space and 2 toilets. Good amount of crockery, cutlery, toaster, microwave, cooker and oven. Swimming pool great and Good green spaces and play area for kids. Beach is 10 minute drive. Big supermarkets nearby. We have had a really nice time.
Avoid Total ripoff place charge you £10 for entertainment passes each and 1 hour of entertainment a night then when saying something they are rude towards you as a customer absolutely appalling customer service and attitude only good point was the location
Lovely, clean, well kept family orientated place. Great swimming pools, club house which we didn't use, so can't comment. Would benefit from small poolside coffee/snack bar/shop.
First caravan we were given had a hole in the bathroom wall and was not very clean. Second caravan was bigger but dirty wife had to clean with anti bac wipes no curtains at the door just clear glass which had not been cleaned in ages as was full of greasy hand prints, again wife cleaned with anti bac wipes. Wardrobe in small bedroom was falling to bits and cupboards in kitchen were in a poor state. Disappointed there was no food served in the evening told the kitchen closed at 6.30 luckily we were able to use the restaurants in the area. All in all we were not very happy and will definitely not be staying there again
