Good location and decent facilities but this is one of the tightest car parks in Bedford and it always has been. Spaces are very tight, as are the ramps between levels compared to more modern car parks. It's an old building and cars keep getting bigger, but not recommended if your car is big.
Parked here last night to go to the restaurants across the road by the cinema, parked there for 1 hour and 49 minutes and charged £6.70!nWhen questioned I was told that there is a new over night charge of £4 after 8pm! I left there at 8.19pm so that 19 minutes cost me an extra £4.nApparently it’s on all their car parks now but Allhallows is slightly cheaper and only charge you £2.50 after 8pm
If you are only out for the evening, do not leave your car here after 8pm without knowing you will be charged £4 on top of your current fee. I parked here at 7pm and left at 8:26pm, it cost me £5.90 as they applied an 'overnight charge' from 8pm. The council are rinsing people of money to park in all their car parks with this one having the highest overnight charge.
Very Poor few disabled parking spaces to get near the cinema. I think just 5 spaces and 3 times more spaces for electric cars, plus cameras to prevent waiting, traffic wardens in regular patrol too !!! Vue Cinemas won’t be going again…
To packed to find a parking space. We had to drive to the top then nearly back down to the ground looking for someone to leave the car park. Won't be parking in here in the future.
