1 out of 3 lifts work, car park itself is ok. Sign says work ends summer 2024? It's been like that forever. It's not great for accessibility users who have been waiting around for a long time. I would avoid weekends.
As said in my last review of the Chinese buffet, this park is JUST BEHIND THE CORNER of a main road man parking, always full and with cues. Just be aware of the VERY narrow exit layaway you could touch the stress easily.
This is OK, if the lifts are working, only trouble is out of three lifts, lucky one only working. Then it's stairs, to many if carrying large amount, getting back to car.
River street carpark is a local council run multistory carpark set on four levels with level 1 dedicated to disabled parking spaces and the main entrance into the site with lifts on all floors exit from the site is by electronic disc issued on entry and ANPR CAMERA registration blue badge holders can park for free but still need to obtain a disc issued at the barriers. Open 24-7 365 with two hours free parking on saturdays. Ideal for the vue cinema next door.
Easy location, clean and tidy and patrolled by wardens, so felt safe as a lone woman.
