Ramps are a little tight for larger cars but not a major problem. We visited as 4hrs parking costs £1 if you're visiting the nearby cinema.
Parked here last night to go to the restaurants across the road by the cinema, parked there for 1 hour and 49 minutes and charged £6.70!nWhen questioned I was told that there is a new over night charge of £4 after 8pm! I left there at 8.19pm so that 19 minutes cost me an extra £4.nApparently it’s on all their car parks now but Allhallows is slightly cheaper and only charge you £2.50 after 8pm
Good location and decent facilities but this is one of the tightest car parks in Bedford and it always has been. Spaces are very tight, as are the ramps between levels compared to more modern car parks. It's an old building and cars keep getting bigger, but not recommended if your car is big.
Wow do not park here after 6pm!! Most car parks become free or cheaper not this one with their new ‘night rates’ it goes up to £4.50 an hour. Well done Bedford council so continuing to ruin our town centre and restaurants
River street carpark is a local council run multistory carpark set on four levels with level 1 dedicated to disabled parking spaces and the main entrance into the site with lifts on all floors exit from the site is by electronic disc issued on entry and ANPR CAMERA registration blue badge holders can park for free but still need to obtain a disc issued at the barriers. Open 24-7 365 with two hours free parking on saturdays. Ideal for the vue cinema next door.
