Important update:nFrom the 3rd of November 2025 the free parking scheme will be suspended. It still needs to be clarified if the free parking after 6pm stays or not.nUpdate: Yesterday Saturday 29th of November after using the parking after 6pm we did not have to pay for it, so it is free at least on Saturday.nnAs you can read on the photos there is contradictory information between the sign board at the parking and what I can find at Bedford Borough Council official website. And neither of them say that after 6pm parking is free on a Saturday.nI am not impressed.nTwo stars removed until they make up their minds and update this information.nnOriginal review:nRight at town centre and affordable, top stories are most of the times almost empty.nn1 Hr - £1.30n2 Hrs - £1.90n3 Hrs - £3.00n4 Hrs - £3.90n5 Hrs - £4.50n5+ Hrs - £7.20nnFree Parking after 6pm? Four hours free parking which was very welcome, reasonable prices if you go beyond four hours. Take a token when you enter and then put it in the machine at the barrier when you exit.nnThe area feels a little… sketchy! The security guards are very friendly and lovely, however we got a little lost going back and ended up at the back of the carpark. One of the security guards asked where we were going and we said Lurke street carpark and he said this way and ushered us inside, throwing a warning look over our shoulder at someone behind us. He closed the door firmly behind us and waited until the doors closed before he went back outside. I wouldn’t feel comfortable in that area after dark.
1/2 the time the toilet is closed. Even when it's is open they close it every day at 3pm instead of 4.15pm marked on the door. Staff in carpark are also rude.
Parking spaces very small. :nVery central :nLifts only go to odd numbered floors :nNo charge evening and Sundays :nNot clear how and when to pay... you get blue token at entry batrrier, on exit you must out the token into the pay machine, then go to car to exot park.
It's a multi storey car park that easy to use and free post 18.00 hours. Sunday is free all day.
