In the area this weekend so just had to pop in for breakfast. Never disappoints, friendly staff and lovely food. We had the Vegetarian and Vegan breakfasts, veggie sausage was the best I've tasted.  Vegetarian options: Vegetarian sausages were the best I've had at a café.

Absolutely banging breakfast, first cafe down south I havnt been disappointed with and decent price. Bacon was thick and cooked perfect, same as the eggs, mushrooms and the bread stick. 10/10 definitely visit againFood: 5/5

Came here on the 16th April for a hearty breakfast to start our day for our Easter pub crawl. There was 6 of us and this cafe was busy but staff informed us of how long the wait was which wasn't to long we just sat outside in the sunshine until tables were available in the cafe so we ordered and waited...My breakfast was smashing cooked just how I asked for it, piping hot and reasonable in price. I will definitely eat there again when I'm over that way.  Staff were great.

I had to urgently travel from Sheppey to Ramsgate early this morning, as I left my suitcase on the train the night before which contained my work laptop and had to come and collect it at the station and log on in time for work. However, I was in need of a table/place to set up and work, so I called up Rising Sun and they ever so kindly reserved me a table next to a plug socket. I arrived and the staff were super friendly, the service was excellent and the food was amazing they even have veggie sausages, which is rare to find. I was able to work in peace for a couple or hours without being disturbed and wasn't asked to free up the table or keep ordering something in order to stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who happens to be in the Ramsgate area!  Vegetarian options: There were vegetarian sausages available, which is something that not all cafés have. Usually when I go to a cafe, there isn't a vegetarian option, so I'd need to substitute the meat sausage for an extra egg or hash brown, which isn't always ideal. However, the vegetarian sausage here was very nice.  Kid-friendliness: Bright and colourful atmosphere with outside seating.
