Rishworth School is a successful independent boarding and day school for children aged 3-18. Alongside excellent academic attainment Rishworth is known for the quality of its pastoral care and for its Sporting and Musical specialisms. The school is within easy access of the M62, Manchester, Halifax and Huddersfield.
Rishworth School was founded by John Wheelwright in 1724 for the education of twenty boys and girls from the parish of Rishworth. It has subsequently grown to become the largest and most successful boarding and day school in the region. The School is a registered charity, overseen by a Board of Governors.
