My Husband and I highly recommend the Rigby Suite function room. Sian supported us in the run up to our wedding and especially through covid. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we wanted for our special day. On our special day we was made to feel so special and everything blew us away. She even arranged our arrival drinks to have our initials ST, which was an amazing surprise. We cannot fault any of the staff, they were friendly and did a great job. Food was delicious and many guests commented on how good the food portions were. Sian even stayed past her finish time which didn't go unnoticed, she is amazing, she really made sure we was happy throughout. It was amazing we will never forget and sure will be back for other events at the Rigby. Thank you
Had a Sunday Carvery only to find that all of the food was cold, I will give a thumbs up to the meat, they were loads of meat. We were rushed after our desert, because they were closing up. I would definitely give full star’s if the food was piping hot. With desert, the custard was runny, not thick enough. It was a shame really, I was looking forward to the meal too
Been a member for some time but have not tried the cafe yet. I had an appointment so I opted to give it a go, and I really wish I hadn't. I ordered a sausage and tomato sandwich, and when it arrived the bread was soggy as they had put around half a tin of tomatoes on. I had to scrape them off. Worse still, I found the sausage was underdone, and I have had stomach pains all day after eating here. So for me - never again sadly.
Came for Sunday lunch 12/12/2021 with my partner. The food was delious, liked that you could have all four meats and crackling. Could not fault it one bit. The bar staff were lovely, the waitress were so polite and nice. They do a great job. They all said Thank you for coming when we was leaving. Would definitely come again. Thank you to you all.
Mother’s Day meal. The food was edible. Yorkshire puddings we’re cold. The meat was cold. The waiting staff was adamant that was no vegan sausage on the menu until they were shown the menu. No spoons were provided for the sauces in the little plastic pots. No places were set. The cutlery was put on the table in a pile for us to sort out ourselves. We then had to ask for more because there wasn’t enough and the server couldn’t understand why. The plates were placed on the table in a pile for us to sort out ourselves. I hade to clear the table of empty bottles and glasses because the waiting staff were trying to put the food in the table and there wasn’t enough room. We had to ask for serviettes. The staff had obviously received no training whatsoever.
Fantastic afternoon tea, gorgeous food, brilliant service.
The foods really good, however they are majorly understaffed I had to wait ages to be served as there was no one at the bar at all. Ironically when I went to the toilet, staff cleared away my lunch and drink even though I wasn't finished. I mentioned this as I ordered another drink which I had to wait for staff again for they apologised for taking it away but didn't offer me anything even though they just threw my lunch out half eaten!
Certain staff not helpful, can't be bothered. Customer service is non existence, quite abrupt.
Amazing service on my wedding day. Cannot fault anything, it was perfect.
