Ridley Road Market Bar
"Cosy and super friendly bar for drinks in the week, DJs and dancing on the weekends. Perfect party bar with large covered outdoor area and cheap drinks. Taiwanese Dumplings and sides served nightly. Great for private parties or events during the week, and unbeatable for a late night drink on the weekend. Supporting female, NB and GNC DJs, expect to hear party music from residents on weekends, Disco, 90's RnB, party classics and dance floor fillers. Open until 3am on weekends. The best place in Hackney to book a birthday party which everyone will love. Cheap fresh cocktails, local beers, celebration shots and a great alcohol free selection. Recommended by Time out London "this little place is as lovable as they come"."

Really good spot for a late night drink, very busy and stays open late - had a great time here. The bar staff stored our bags behind the bar which was a handy touch. Very trendy crowd throughout. Only negative I would say is that the toilet situation is quite poor, it’s shared facilities and there are no urinals here, bouncer on the toilet door making sure that no men push through.
Virgin drinks £16 - lit looool. Don’t come here before midFood: 2/5
Amazing little spot and open late It is definitely overcrowded. When we got there at 8 it was empty but around 10pm it went from 15 people to 70 people and no one seemed to count the number at the door. Also there’s a cover charge after a certain time of $5. Which might be their way of trying to minimize the number of people.
This place was recommended by a few friends so I was excited to go, but was very disappointed to find it extremely overcrowded. The dance floor was so packed everyone was forced to constantly jostle for space. The DJs were also really bad at mixing. This was a shame as they played a lot of bangers but they were a bit spoilt a horrible sound clash at the start of each song
In my Top 10 for sure!! It's about good times on the dance floor, letting your hair down, holiday/house party kinda vibes – and open late. Worth checking their IG for what's on when, as it does cater for a wide variety of genres on rotation including Dance, Disco, DNB, Euro-pop, Garage, Rockabilly, Soul and Live performances… Recommend drink: Gin & Blood Orange Real nights for all people. Independent. Love it.
Had a really bad experience with the DJ. The dance floor was empty and it was my friend’s birthday. I’ve kindly asked for the DJ to play one of her favourite songs and the DJ start to scream at me for no reason. The bar manager had listened to the complaint but was not able to speak with the DJ. I would honestly I not recommend this place for a night out with friends and special celebrations.
Good vibes going on here with mainly 20s-40s age group. Beers and cocktails, great Mojitos ! It gets packed on the weekends, so if you don't mind major shoulder rubbing, you will love it here. Only bad point I'd say is the location of the toilets, you have to squeeze your way through the busy dance floor everytime. Good points - No entrance fee, smoking area outside
Very cool hospitality and good ambiance crazy music make me blast all them.I Love their customer service and pocket friendly prices. Offers happy hour service and pet friendly. Welcome any foodstuffs. All round i am loving it Wheelchair accessibility: Very easy for accessibility
Unfortunately I had the worst experience in this club due to a female bouncer very unexpected as I have worked for a number of years in the nightlife scene and am very aware of the challenges door staff face. I was in the smoking area when a woman told me to be quiet after I was speaking in a normal register to my friends she was a bouncer, I had not realised this as she was very unprofessional in how she spoke to me. I said, ‘oh, she must be a resident’ to my friends, and as a result I was forcibly removed even though I had not raised my voice or posed a threat in any way, and I questioned the door staff as to why I was being physically pulled at when I had not done anything wrong. When I questioned the door staff, the male member of staff admitted that the female bouncer ‘needed to calm down’, and I was told I was unable to enter the establishment because she was upset. She had clearly decided that she did not want me in the club, and I respect her personal opinion - however I find it hilarious that I was kicked out when people were doing keys in the club behind me. Fantastic door staff, clearly, who allow drug taking but say ‘having a voice that is a higher register’ is a reason to be kicked out. Girls - don’t come here, the club/bouncers only want ketty men in attendance. Anti feminist and misogynistic vibes from the door staff. Swerve and go to Bar Doña up the road.
Fun place with great cocktails. Music is hilarious on a Friday night. Cotton eye Jo Food: 5/5
