After trying rest, exercise, physiotherapy, pain killers and injections I had almost given up on trying to find a way of curing the pain in my back and leg due to collapsed discs in my lower spine, but after a chance meeting with a chiropractor from Ridgeway Medispa I thought I had nothing to lose. It was the best decision I’ve made. I now attend regularly and have my life back. The team are great and professional while maintaining a good sense of humour. I have just entered my first triathlon which is something I would never had thought possible.

I have been attending Ridgeway Health and Wellness for a few years due to a back injury caused by a car accident. I have monthly maintenance to keep myself inline and it has benefited me greatly. Because of this, when my mother began passing out due to a pain in her shoulder, and the doctors and hospital did not solve the problem for her, we decided to see if there was anything that Simon could do for her too. When we arrived the reception staff were fantastic in letting us know what forms to fill in and making sure we were comfortable in the waiting room. Due to my mother being Italian, there was an Italian girl in the staff, Giulia who attended to my mother and explained everything to her in Italian to make sure she totally understood what was happening every step of the way, from the xrays to the consultation. Even when we returned for the results and treatment plan, Giulia was there to help Simon explain it all. Simon explained that the nerves in her neck were compressed and that was the root of the problem, and her treatment began. She is still in early stages of her treatment plan but the difference is fantastic, she has had no episodes of passing out since. Ridgeway Health and Wellness staff have gone out of their way to be helpful and polite and professional in every aspect of their job and I and my mother would not hesitate to recommend their service to anyone.

I work in IT, spending as much as 14-16 hours a day sat down, hunched over a keyboard, phone or book. I suffered from terrible neck, shoulder, back and leg pain so much so that I developed a very disrupted sleeping pattern. Within weeks of starting with Mark & his team I was pain-free, mobile and sleeping more regularly. I was a cynic before starting. I'm a believer now.

Last year I went to Ridgeway Health & Wellness with sciatica causing agonising pain in my back & legs. Also, I struggled to turn my head because of neck pain. I have received great treatment, which has resulted in much easier movement in my neck, and the sciatic pain has gone. I feel much healthier & fitter. I highly recommend this chiropractic clinic as they look at the whole person to improve well being preventing future reoccurrence of pain & don’t just do a ‘quick fix’.

I had been suffering from hip pain for many months and often had neck and shoulder pain too, I assumed due to travelling by plane a lot. After my first few visits to Ridgeway Health and Wellness there was a significant improvement, not only in the hip pain but also the general aches in my back and neck. Now a few months on it is so much better. I feel more flexible and my posture must be improved as I no longer get neck or back pain. I cannot recommend Ridgeway Health and Wellness enough, they have been excellent. They are very knowledgeable and keen to help. The initial adjustments helped quite quickly but it has been the ongoing regular visits that are making a huge difference now. I would recommend regular visits to maintain the alignment and benefits it gives. Definitely wouldn’t want to go back to the constant niggling pain!
