Lovely place to just sit and chill. Plenty of bars and restaurants around, otherwise amazing place to bring your own food and drink. It's best in the evening watching the sun go down but just a word of warning: it can become super packed on hot/warm days
Richmond riverside and Richmond hill It’s really beautiful area for walking
The Riverside can be nice in February as well as summer. Walk up or down river for a bit more greenery or along to Terrace Gardens, up and along again for the whole of Richmond Park
Every parking space has a company's logo over it, as if you can't park there and it's private. After a lot of deliberation, I decided to park anyway and assume it's fine. This also confused a lot of other motorists. I didn't receive a ticket.

Not huge car park but useful
Great place to be for relaxation. Then if you turn left on the River walk until you get to the turn off for the road and cross over to the other side strait in to a lovely garden. NICE.
Picture perfect! Richmond is known for its Bridge, walks and parks. Exploring the riverside route Richmond side of the River is exciting. Be aware parking is easier on St Margaret's side of the Bridge. Be aware of Mon-Fri high tide. Parked on the wrong place could be dangerous. Parking wardens thrive in Richmond, day or night. Be aware of the "new no idle fines" if stationary anywhere. Otherwise enjoy the Countryside, Stately Homes and the Deer in Richmond Park. Bring a mask. Walking the Riverside can be very crowded.
It is a really nice and lively walk on The Riverside with lots of artist playing different music and amazing views.
