This was a really great experience. We were served by Ben, who is a particularly nice chap who really took the time to chat to my partner about what we needed. His recommendations were great. We placed an order in the shop for a TV, sound bar and a subwoofer and when we got home read the reviews of the products and we are so pleased. Not only that, but the prices that we got at Richer Sounds were very competitive. Will happily use again.
I just spoke with Ben at Richer Sounds Southampton. He is a genius. Ben helped me solve a problem I have been having with my AV amp and projector for months - I explained the issue and he gave me 2 things to try. I tried the first suggestion and it has fixed this intermittent issue I'd been trying to figure out. I'm eternally grateful to Ben, thank you! I couldn't recommend Richer Sounds more, they're always super kind, patient and helpful.  I highly recommend them!!!!
Spent the morning demoing speakers on my own amp and turntable. First time demoing hi-fi equipment before purchasing and nothing was too much trouble for these guys. Really helpful, insightful and a thoroughly pleasant experience from start to finish. Shout out to James. Thanks again.

First of all - Brilliant. Top Quality Customer Service. I spent 5 hours at the store testing different speakers and amps to feel and hear the difference. I am a perfectionist so I had many questions and Paul Chance helped me so much to choose the perfect sound setup for my office. I upgraded from an old low end 2013 sony soundbar to the KEF Q150's and the Tangent Ampster BT II which broke day 1 dont cheap out on the amp i learnt my lesson I took it back to the store next day and got a refund and decided to not cheap out and went for the Audiolab 6000A after having another listen with the help of James to be sure it was right for me. It sounds phenomenal in the space I have even better than it did at the store as I am limited by space constraints. TLDR: Top Notch. You will not find better service than this. I am never going back to Currys for A/V. Richer Sounds treated me well. Recommended. Thank you to the team at Richer Sounds Southampton.
First set foot in Richer Sounds a year ago when I had gone to Currys to get a TV but after 15ish minutes no staff had spoken to me. Rob gave me some info about what was on the walls and then handed me the remotes so I could do my own testing on my own with no pushyness. Walked out with a LG C3 55" and a soundbar with sub that day. Returned a year later to buy some new monitor speakers for my computer after another experience with Currys having an awful selection of what I was after. Marco and the others were smiley, funny, and helped me find the speakers and cables I needed super easy. It's obvious the people working there are good humans who really do know their stuff about the products they sell. Cannot recommend them enough.
Simply appalling service from start to finish purchased a subwoofer from the store remotely on the 21st September as I live 248 miles away, so had to rely on the description of the item from the sales professional, item was described as "open box" ex display as new no noticeable damage view the photos and make your own mind up and to add insult to injury the item came dead on arrival and I was given instructions over the phone how to change the internal fuses of which I had to source from a local hifi store to get it going,15 phone calls later and numerous other issues and promises made by customer services the only thing I have received is new grill supplied by REL if you have a choice of alternative supplier for your equipment I would use it, Otherwise you will have two weeks of frustration and phone calls emails which nobody needs in their lives.
Tom was amazing ! He helps me to fix the sound bar today , no hassle at all. And very friendly environment. Always buy from that shop , quality and aftercare is brilliant . 6 years warranty
Great service from James Ben and Rob delivered to the Isle of Wight within two days as promised no hassle really genuine staff to deal with and great price with massive 6 year warranty, why use other suppliers. Thankyou again guys awesome customer service. Keep up the excellent work.
Good service, I have bought all my Hi-fi separates including audio leads from Richer Sounds. Good in store help and great customer service, you'd be a fool for not using them for all your Audio/Entertainment needs.
