Worst tech shop in the UK. Bad service online, even worse in shop. Only two staff when I went to buy my first product a vacuum cleaner. There was no one to serve the customers. I had to wait for over half an hour because there was only Dave serving customers, the other guy with the red ponytail did nothing. Dave was super nice and charming, though. Then I bought an under-counter fridge on the internet. It arrived on time, but completely damaged. They offer me no option to get my money back or exchange the product. Only £18... This is a shame and I am very upset with Currys. I do not recommend this shop. I will not shop here again.
Joke of a shop, no one seems to have a clue what's going on. Took my phone in for repair as it had a swollen battery and was under warranty, after about an hour process of looking for things, calling over other colleagues, phoning another store it finally got sent off for repair, the boy told me he worked in another store previously and compared this one was really unorganized and no one knew where anything was including the store manager. I received an email saying the repair was done and it was on its way back to the store and they would let me know when it arrives, no one lets me know, no phone number to speak to anyone so I had to go back in to see what was going on. I'm told oh yeah we have that here no apology for not letting me know, however it couldn't be repaired because of damage to the screen, the guy looks at the phone and decides actually the picture accompanying it isn't of my phone as he can't see any damage and tells me it wouldn't be the first time the repairs centre have refused to repair something for no reason he says he will email them and send the phone back in - I then get a voicemail on a private number saying ACTUALLY there IS damage to the phone so we won't be able to repair it, i go back in and the guy shows me the swollen battery and tells me that's the reason it can't be repaired the reason I took it in for repair I tell him no there's a picture of damage and I don't think the phone was damaged, he looks and low and behold there's a tiny tiny nick on the screen almost not visible when i put it in a case the day I got it, only took it out to case to give to them and they sent it away in a black bag... Couldn't be bothered to spend anymore of my time talking to them about it, id rather pay to get it repaired elsewhere. Zero customer service.
I bought a washing machine and and after 5 days of using it the glass broke. We contacted the shop and they gave us the service providers contact we emailed the service provider several times and its been a year without a response. I feel that was poor customer service , first of all why should I be the one contacting the service provider when I bought the good from curry's?
It has a long range of electronic items and accessories but seems a bit limited. It's well managed and items are very decently displayed. Seems like a bit expensive so if you want quality and don't worry about the wallet then it's all for you.
Unfortunately didn't manage to catch the lady's name who helped me today as I was a bit frazzled - but it was like the staff couldn't do enough to help. She helped strip off the packaging so that the oven would fit in the car with two car seats, then went to find extra bubble wrap to protect the corners which my youngest has not stopped popping for fun since. Really quick service and so friendly.
Went to this store 2 days in a row each time, waited over 45 minutes to check out laptops, and was told, "It will be over an hour. we've got people waiting upstairs, too!" 4 members of staff standing around chatting. I walked out, and then suddenly I heard someone" say oh she's gone !" Yeah, so I went down to Argos. Instead, my item was cheaper there. Happy days ! Avoid currys
Genuinely never has more than one person serving three desks. Doesn't matter if you've bought something to collect or have picked something up in store, expect to be waiting at least 10 minutes for someone to even start the process.
I went on the website and couldn’t find the correct wall mount for my tv, I thought I can speak to the weblive team to assist me! I was on hold with them for like 35mins then, I called my local store and the answer machine kept sending me messages to speak to the weblive team which would have been amazing if anyone picked up. I finally for through to someone to assist me and guess what they couldn’t help me and asked me to go into a local store with asking me what my make or model or the tv was! What a waste of time!!!!
Been ordered a product. A week has gone I go to them and they say tomorrow. In order not to drive all the way there I call them and I ask”is my product ready for collection” their answer is “yes it’s here come and collect it” I half and hour to them just to be told “yea the box is in the back but we can’t give it you until tomorrow cuz we can sort them” . I’m still w8ing to be called to come collect it. Rude persons at reception no one wants to help. Worst experience ever with a curry’s
There was an employee on their phone, which didn't give a professional impression. Obvs couldn't provide much help, but then a guy came along and gave me the exact product I need. His Scottish accent was quite convincing, too!
